Let me say that I've stayed in dozens of holiday apartments, and I'd rate Fiorenza's service, attention to detail, and customer care as the very best I've experienced.
From the moment she greeted us on arrival, Fiorenza was so helpful and accommodating, and very limited English was more than made up for by her friendliness and attention to detail. Little surprises like milk in the fridge, jam and honey, tea, coffee, pastries, - even a bowl of sweets, made the apartment so welcoming.
The low ceilings need care for tall guests, but I'm 6 foot, and it didn't present any problems. The apartment is actually very spacious. and the enclosed roof garden was great for having breakfast and evening meals in total privacy.
The apartment is located just a short walk from the historic centre, but very close to cafe's and a great little supermarket. Fiorenza thoughtfully supplied us with a host of maps, leaflets and guides to the attractions of Verona, which was a very pretty city, by the way.
In short, I'd jump at the chance of returning here, and rate it's value-for-money very highly indeed.More
