“The best of hospitality”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 October 2011

Owners Alba and Paolo are the perfect hosts. We stayed in their lovely home in a large, spacious room with private bath. We were made to feel at home immediately upon arrival. Alba and Paolo were so helpful in telling us about things to do and see in and around Verona. They are very knowledgeable about the town and the surrounding areas as well as the history of Verona. Alba speaks English wonderfully which is so helpful and Paolo definitely understands quite a bit. Breakfast was wonderful and bountiful. The best part about our stay, and a memory which will stay with us forever, is when Paolo played the guitar and sang an Italian folk song for us during breakfast!

Room Tip: This is a true home stay in their home and they offer only one room.

Great room for 4 with sole use of bathroom. Hosts very helpful with lots of tips on things to see, restaurants, and getting around Verona.Less than 30 minute walk to centre of Verona or short bus ride, even after the opera finished at midnight. Private parking.

If you are going to Veronna definitely stay here for at least 2-3 days. The hosts, Alba and Paolo, go out of their way to welcome you and make you feel at home. It is not in the centre of town which makes it a little quieter but has access to a regular and good bus service. Alba and Paolo will take you on a free history walk of Verona if you stay over 2 nights and this was fantastic—be warned it lasted for over 2 hours (they did tell me later they like cross country skiing). They recommended a good restaurant and it is still one of my fondest eating memories (nothing like local knowledge). The accommodation is very clean and it is quality. Breakfast is included and was simply amazing with so much fresh local produce. A great way to start the day. Nothing but good to say about it. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely return, this time for a longer visit as Verona is truly captivating.

Alba and Paolo were fantastic hosts. Just the right combination of helpfulness, but not being intrusive. We had a lovely breakfast every morning with fresh cheeses and they were incredibly helpful in telling us how to navigate the city. Alba even walked us to the train station! They made excellent food recommendations. One recommendation was the best food we had our entire trip. We travelled with our 10-month-old son and he was very spoiled by them both. Great stay!

My daughter and I booked a trip through Europe and were lucky enough to find this charming bed & breakfast in Verona. The location was close to bus service, a quick trip to town and the train station. The rooms were enormous! Very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large with a bath and a shower. Sunrise & Paulo were the perfect hosts. They were so gracious and helpful with all aspects of our stay there. The neighborhood was very safe, even at night Which made it a pleasure to enjoy in the summer. We were completely happy ~ ~ ~ Believe me we stayed in quite a few b & b's during our trip ~ ~ this was at the top of our list! Diane & Katherine
