Arrived early evening after a long journey from the airport by water bus. Although cheaper than a water taxi it is slow. The hotel was a subset of the main building and our room was on the first floor. No views and the windows opened onto an inside space used for services etc. Comfortable bed, fridge, tv, complimentary bottle of Proseco but no obvious power points for charging. Found an extension lead beside the fridge so that was used satisfactorily. Very quiet room and very dark because of the room blinds. Slept well and the shower was ok but could do with a bit more oompfh. Breakfast downstairs was a self service affair and assume to be Italian style. Coffee was very good and the bread tasty. Good location and only a short 5 min walk to St Marks square and also to the water front.

Room Tip: Ask about power points when shown the room.

Great location, not far from Biennale. But room a bit aged, underaired, some moskitos, only 4 (random) TV stations, toilet flush unit fell out of wall, stains in ceiling. Nothing on its own which one would have to complain about, but the whole picture for EUR 200 can only survive in .... Venice, the town of one-off visitors. Checked out breakfast at nearby Palazzo, and nothing to write home about either -except nicer old highceilinged room.

Great expectations coming to this hotel- good location 5 minutes from St Marks & an historic building. Downsides were the extremely uncomfortable bed or 2 beds pushed together & the useless air conditioning which i did ask staff to look at to no avail. It is more than likely set at 22deg permanently. No view from the window & our rooms opened directly off the breakfast room so were a little noisy from 5.30am. Breakfast not included for some reason but at 8 euro was good value.

This Palazzo is smack in the middle of everything; plaza San Marco, Bridge Rialto, Bridge of Sighs, museums, restaurants and shops. The hotel is quaint and homey. It is a landmark in its own right. Although the rooms are in the smaller side, it was comfortable, clean and the staff is super friendly. I plan on coming back and I will stay here.

I liked the rooms with the high ceiling and the woodwork and textile wallpaper. The breakfast is great as well. It's close to the San Marco piazza but not noisy at all at night. If you like classic grandeur it's a good ronantic place
