We arrived with our 2 young kids at 1pm, unfortunately the room wasnt ready - but the girl said we could leave our back and the room woul only be an hour, we went out for the day and had a great time ( apart from our child falling in the canal and Dad having to jump into save him! - if you have kids watch this - the banks are really slippy:) anyway we were in room 1, which for venice was a great size, kids had a small room off this, the furnished were really good quality / and the place was immaculately clean, we paid 220 euros for one night which is quite alot, but im sure if you book in advance you may get a better deal. The girl who was in charge was really friendl and depsite being on her own that day and having the entire guest house to clean - she took time to tell us where to go and what to see etc> Breakfast was served in our room which was lovely and really fresh. The staff only stay there until 1pm, after that everyone in the hotel is on there own, I tried to contact them by phone and email to ask a couple of questions, but didnt get a reply - not sure what would happen in an emergency - bit unusual - but thats venice for you!

Only downside is we booked this hotel as it said it had wi fi - and it didnt: problem for us as we needed this for our business: everywhere else offers it in venice so you can go to the many cafes, but they should either get it working or not advertise as having it. Apart from that I would definately stay again. Its only 10 minutes walk from everything which is nice to : Had a ball in Venice

This is the best hotel/B&B deal I've EVER experienced. I was traveling with my fiancee on a whirlwind 2-day trip through Venice, and we were just delighted with this quaint spot. Great location, clean room with private bathroom, nice (not too fancy, but did the job!) breakfast, great service. One downside is no wi-fi, but we were told they are working on it.

First, we had no trouble finding it (walking ~30min from St Lucia train station), though if you have a lot of luggage I wouldn't recommend walking as there are many bridges/canals to cross. I was worried that we were arriving >1hr before the check-in time of 11:30, but it was no problem - we were buzzed right in, and the woman running the place was extremely friendly and helpful. She gave us a map, marked out main attractions and restaurant suggestions, and drew out efficient paths through the city. We filled out our breakfast preferences for the following morning and headed up the stairs to our beautiful, clean room. The shower was tiny (ladies, good luck shaving your legs in here!), but the place was clean and had a lovely view of the neighboring canal. With the windows open, the canal was quite noisy, but with them closed it was no problem.
I cannot emphasize enough how pleased we were with this place. It was pretty, relaxing, clean, had friendly service, and was totally affordable (we paid 60 euros a night). We were able to leave our bags there all day and pick them up before our night train. It was super convenient and a lovely experience. HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!!

My husband and I stayed here last spring and very much enjoyed our stay. The room was big and very clean. There was a beautiful view of a bridge right our window and they served a nice decent sized breakfast in comparison to most breakfasts you'll get in Italy. The location is also nice as it was only a 10 minute walk to the center of Venice. We have already recommended this hotel to many of our friends and recommend it to anyone going to Venice!!

Excellent welcome, great service, very nice rooms. I have really enjoyed the stay in this hotel. One of the main boat stations is just around the corner so the access is very easy. Breakfast in the room is a excellent and the minibar with free water bottles is a very welcome touch.
