Every review is correct - the room and bath were perfect, the service wonderful and breakfast and happy hour snacks were delicious! A pleasant 15 minute walk to St. Marks. Take the bus from the airport, it's the quickest way in and the stop is a 5 minute walk to the hotel.

Trying to find somewhere decent and reasonably price in Venice is a challenge, so I took a punt on this place based on other reviews here. I can confirm they are spot on: this is a lovely boutique hotel.

First the location. If you're arriving by bus, it's a 5 min walk from the main Piazzale Roma terminus, and 10 mins from the train station (though despite being close to these transport hubs the actual hotel is very quiet). It's also perfectly situated for seeing the sites with most of the key locations only a stroll away and river bus stops etc close by. It's also no more than 5-6 mins from various decent eating options.

The hotel itself is beautifully presented and there's a wonderful attention to detail - such as the free prosecco and delicious finger buffet every night. The front desk staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

Our room, although not huge, was a reasonable size, and as with the rest of the place, beautifully furnished with an eye to the details. Breakfast was very good with fast service and nothing too much trouble.

If you're looking for a lovely spot in Venice to stay for a few days and don't want to break the bank, I can't recommend this place enough.

Located overlooking a busy canal, this hotel is expensive but divine. From our initial champagne welcome, to the sensational staff, this hotel was everything we had expected after reading Trip Advisor reviews. Breakfast is lovely - served in the dining room or delightful courtyard. Each evening there is a savoury buffet - great starter to an evening. The staff are very helpful - knowledgable and happy just to have a chat and offer advice. Treat yourself - stay at Moresco.

Room Tip: Ask for overlooking the canal (windows fantastic when closed no noise at all)

My wife and I were very happy with our choice of hotels for Venice. The hospitality at Hotel Moresco is top notch and it felt like we were being welcomed into somebody's home. Breakfast and happy hour were excellent. The courtyard is very peaceful (until you get a group of smokers sit near you). The hotel is very easy walk from the train station.

The only issue was that I booked a canal view room which was a little more expensive and while we did have a bit of a view from one of the windows I probably wouldn't pay extra for it next time. Also it can be challenging getting in and out of the shower due to the height of the tub.

In any case we will definitely stay here again next time we are in Venice.

Room Tip: Top floor didn't have great views based on height of the windows.

I stayed at Moresco for last christmas with my better half and we had a really lovely stay, service and delicious breakfast everyday morning! They welcomed us with a welcome drink on the day of arrival and the service was quite impressive until we left. Since it was christmas season we were able to attend the mass at St Marks Basilica and all in all it was a great experience both in Venice and Moresco.
