We booked a family room for 3 but were allocated a suite which was beautifully decorated in typical Venetian style, more like staying in someone's apartment, so much more than we had expected. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay special. Located directly opposite the train station and fronts onto the Grand Canal, you can have breakfast on the terrace and watch the Gondolas go buy....wonderful!! You are a bit of a walk to Rialto Bridge, St Marco's Sq and Doges Palace but don't let that put you off, the walk is a must if you want to really see Venice.
The only downside I can come up with is that Wifi is not available in the room only at the hotel reception - although there is internet connection in the room.More
