This hotel is a little gem on the waterfront, a five minute walk from Pl. St. Marco.
Front desk were very friendly and helpful. The decor is like the inside of a ship, all done with wood paneling. Breakfast is great!

Loved Venice perfect short trip, and Hotel Bucintoro was a wonderful place to stay.
Beds were so comfortable we slept late and missed breakfast zzzzzzz.
Rooms resemble being on a luxurious ship.
View from the room is absolutely beautiful especially at night.
Couldn't have picked a better area to stay, lovely and quiet but not too far of a walk to the square.
Favourite place to visit was the Rialto Bridge.
Wish we had the money to upgrade to the top suite to use the sitting area overlooking the water and Yachts whilst sipping a glass or two of champagne but you can't have it all :)

Venice is like being in a different world, didn't see a car all holiday since the moment we landed which was very strange but so lovely.

Room Tip: if you have the money then upgrade to the Penthouse suite as the picture of the two seats on the bal...

Hotel Bucintoro is located one of the best places in Venice. Especially great for visiting the Venice Biennale. It only takes 5 minutes to walk to Giardini. The hotel is also extremely well connected with watertaxis to all other places in Venice; San Marco, Lido etc.. All is only a few minutes away by boat. This hotel is just what you need when in Venice. It has a tranquille and relaxed athmosfere - a true haven in the middle of all the great culture and history. Beautiful rooms, with all that you need and an excellent view to the waterfront. Extremely helpfull and friendly staff, who will help you with your basic needs within minutes. It feels like they only work for you - but the truth is they take this good care of all our their quests. Hotel Bucintoro has my warmest recommendations.

This was my favorite hotel in Italy! It's very conveniently located, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was the most friendly out of all of the three hotels we were in. Free Wifi and breakfast as well, and the hotel staff keep your room key, so they get to know you as you come and go! The room was nautical themed and hardwood on the floors and walls-wonderful bathroom/shower and a lovely view of the sea :) The beds were also very comfortable! The only regret I have is the fact that we had to go home!

The room was beautiful - rich, dark woods and very comfortable beds. I loved the wood shelving around the bed and the handy lighted cubby holes. The view was wonderful. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I was worried the location might be too far east to be convenient, but it was perfect. Easy walking distance to the St Marco stop of the boat system. We would definitely stay there again. Drawback was that there were yachts moored in front on all but the last day.

Room Tip: We had a junior suite and a classic room with twin beds for the kids. Both had great views.
