Venice is so beautiful and nice and has ts own Charme.
We directly felt like in the Middle Ages.
But we didn’t expect the same for our stay in this hotel.
I need to say that the 2 stars I gave is for the friendly and helpful staff and the location. Also the very small rooms and nice arranged room is exactly what we expected.
But many things are broken e.g. the Toilette cover doesn’t stay open, the wardrobe couldn’t be opened, mold in the bathroom and no WiFi is available. So the management really don’t care and just wanna make money. That was our feeling. See the pictures attached.
A little bit more care and some standards as WiFi in rooms is a minimum what we could expect in the 21st century especially for 120€ a night.
A little bit more care and then the stay in Venice and the Alcyone would be a great pleasure.

Stayed here for 5 nights, room was clean maybe a tad small but most hotels in Venice have small rooms, breakfast was very good with view of the canal, location of hotel was perfect, all the main sights within a couple of minutes walk, recommend for couples staying for upto a week

I have spent 2 nights at this hotel with my family. The breakfast was very good and diverse and you could watch the gondolas passing by right next to our window. The rooms were very nice, Venetian design, very classy.

Stayed here for one night after a cruise. Our big mistake was not checking if the hotel had a lift. We were three couples with six large suitcases and six small, our rooms were all on the third floor. There is NO lift. A shower was needed after getting all the luggage up the many stairs, the shower was very small and water leaked all over the bathroom floor. The room did not feel very clean, wallpaper was peeling and the door to the bathroom had a not very well repaired whole. The air con was not cool enough and the bed was not very comfortable. As we had only booked one night we stayed out late and left early. The breakfast was not a good experience, we only had a cup of tea and were asked to move to another table as we sat on a table for four waiting for our friends. We moved to a table for two as requested, our friends (2) then sat on the table for four. The atmosphere was not very pleasant so we left and had breakfast elsewhere. We paid £144 euro which was much more than we have paid for far better hotels in Venice. Our other mistakes was not reading the reviews before we booked. The location was good but we would not stay here again.

Stayed here in the middle of August for a treat for my husbands birthday. What a disappointment. Great location it has to be said but the rooms are tired and the staff are rude. It was as much as they could do to manage Hello. The lady looking after breakfast did not stop sighing through the whole affair, the breakfast counter was pretty empty and she made little attempt to top it up. The canal view was a let down too. Overall I would not return or recommend.
