This hotel is in an ideal location for Venice sight seeing. What really sets this place apart is the front desk staff and concierge-they totally rock! They were unfailingly polite and helpful. The rooms are beautiful, but like many European hotels, room sizes vary. Do not purchase the breakfast buffet if its not included in your room cost-the food is tasty but its just too expensive. Also do not take the free water taxi to Murano-what a waste of time unless you like being escorted and followed around while you look at lovely yet oh-so-expensive art glass. Go to the unexplored and off-the-beaten-path sections of Venice and enjoy the delicious food and wine.
