Booked online and then read the reviews which were somewhat mixed. However, I needn’t have worried. Tour was as described with tour guide Fred, a female, true Venetian, who shared a wealth of knowledge regarding the history and sites that are not necessarily seen by tourists, through a synchronised earpiece issued by shop.
Enjoyed immensely.
The gondola ride was a also enjoyed, although the short walk to the water was a bit strange...lots of people, following the “sign” which is held aloft, in a sea of locals and tourists. A definite skill, as described by Fred, along canals resembling a watery M25 in the main. Glad we did both the walking tour and the gondola ride. Ticked off the bucket list...
Good value and would recommend.

Absolute worst customer service experience I had in Venice. Sold us the wrong tickets and would not exchange or refund them for an alternative, even when we offered to buy a more expensive package. For the 7 euros you save per person booking here, you end up paying a lot more in time and suffering. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

My wife purchased this Tour on TripAdvisor. We did the walking tour first which was 90 mins and we wore a headset and followed along. Our guide was great. She explained a lot of the history of Venice and its unique characteristics. After, someone else guided us to the gondolas which were situated right in front of the Hard Rock Cafe. We were joined in the boat by four strangers but it was fine, saw lots of Venice by waterways in about 35-40 mins. Pretty spendy like 100 bucks but hey, we were on vacation and who knows when we would get back to enjoy such a beautiful city in perfect weather

We took the Grande Canal tour by boat...not gondola. The boat was a power boat, mostly enclosed with only two good seat. One for the operator and one for the guide. The rest of us sat in an enclosed area with windows, mostly covered by decals, and a back seat for about 3 people. They had the best view of all of us, but it was still bad. The operator of the boat was more interested in getting around quickly and looking at his cell phone. We were on the evening tour on August 13, 2018. Complete waste of money and time.WHY WOULD YOU HAVE A TOUR IN A BOAT YOU CAN'T SEE OUT OF????

The journey from Marco Polo airport to Venice was fine; we found the office, had to wait about 15 minutes and were escorted to the boat. A typical Venetian water taxi. The trip was quick, about 20 minutes, the drop off about 5 minutes walk from our hotel. The return journey was not so good...we were expecting to be picked up about 9am leaving plenty of time for our 12:30 flight. We received a fax and had to meet the boat at 07:40. Despite going to Lido for another pickup - which did not in fact happen - we were at the airport 4 hours before our UK flight was due to depart. I hate sitting around in airports at any time, but getting there two hours before we needed to was a bit much. It's not cheap at 120 euro and I would have expected better service. I'll take the public water bus next time.

An absolute waste of money and time. Bucintoro Viaggi made us wait in an open courtyard outside their shop in 32 degree baking heat for 30 mins and tour left 10 mins late. Walked out like cattle herd to the Gondola boarding point. 6 people crammed to 1 boat (made for 4 people) and I was separated from my wife, all of the trip. Ride took 21 mins exactly (was supposed to be min 30 mins), saw 10 metre stretch of grand canal, and pushed off boat, told we could not even have 1 photo sat together at the end. Its a money making scam! Expedia and Bucintoro you should be ashamed of yourselves for conning people like this. We went all the way to Venice on our 25th wedding anniversary to be made to sit on our own on a gondola paddled by bully boys.
