We were making different day trips by the train, and location could not be better. Rooms are very nice. Breakfast was very good, but once something runs out, they do not replenish it. The beautiful stairs that they show in their pictures, are always closed for the quests.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights with a prepaid reservation.
After arriving on the noon train from Vicenza, we walked 150 meters southwest to this hotel. An English speaking clerk took our passports, issued our room key and showed us the elevator.
Our large #306 had a comfortable king with 2 nightstands with drawers, refer with TV(CNBC, BBC, Bloomberg), closet wardrobe with safe, and fully outfitted bathroom with tub shower. A large double insulated window overlooked a quiet walkway. Although no hot pot, I procured hot water from the breakfast room for coffee/tea in our room.
We enjoyed quiet nights, secure wifi, and a well serviced 7AM breakfast buffet of high quality foods. With the station grocery, McDonald's, an authentic Chinese restaurant(Corso Del Popolo #14), and the Tram all within 100 meters, makes this more expensive hotel a good value.

Read all the reviews on this hotel before we left and decided it deserved the benefit of doubt, I am pleased that we did as this hotel satisfied all our needs, if you want a clinical chrome corporate hotel this is not for you, if you want a typical Italian hotel with character and some slightly faded grandeur don't hesitate. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with everything we needed except tea making facilities, the shower was hand held, a screen or curtain would have been better. Breakfast was quite good but perhaps not for UK diners. As others have stated it is situated directly in front of the railway station with all that that entails but we never felt unsafe or intimidated. Italian trains are cheap and reliable so this hotel was an ideal base to travel further afield on day trips. JMc

We weren't expecting much from this hotel, it was only a one night stay, close to the train station and relatively in-expensive. However it was wonderful, our room was spacious, well appointed, the decor was lovely and most importantly for a busy location it was perfectly quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast room gorgeous. We had just left Venice having stayed at an expensive hotel that was terrible. If we return to this region we will stay at the Grand'Italia in Padua and train into Venice.

This hotel has the best customer service that I have seen. The front desk is worthy of a gold medal. The hotel is clean but dated.
Was here for a business trip so it was a small single room.

Speed of service when ordering a cafe was great. Breakfast was continental and good quality

For a low to mid cost hotel it was great but the reason why I never gave 5 star was because of the area where the hotel was. Unfortunately this area is full of, should I say, "people with no jobs" hope that is the polite thing to say. It is very close to the rail station with quick direct links to Venice

10min walk to old part of town which is full of the Italian charm

So to end, good hotel, perfect customer service, but watch the area.
