Amazing location for skiing. Very close to Dolonne lift. Very helpful staff (booked pre st didier spa and organised taxi for us, provided paper and pens for games, stuck with us whilst we resolved bar bill!). Breakfast is quite basic cold selection with dishwater tea but lovely coffee, extra charge for eggs, hot choc etc). Some beds were really quite uncomfortable (hard). Bar is great. Free wifi is best in bar/reception.
Half board was terrific value, starters of pasta/soup/risotto were amazing but main courses sometimes odd for uk palate, polenta features big and my turkey was in fact pork and veal was beef etc but still we ate it with gusto so couldn't have been too bad! Puddings got recycled a bit eg vanilla pudding one day became creme caramel (different sauce) the next.
The spa is nice to have but 15 euros for an hour seemed a lot and steam room was cold and some wood was rotten around jacuzzi/hot pool. Was fun still with a group. If I sound at all negative I'm not, just pointing out all sides and very very pleased overall.

We booked a last minute night here to get in a day of Skiing in courmayeur and we're really pleased with our choice of hotel. Mainly because the room was super clean, the hotel staff were fantastic and the Dolonne lift station was just across the road with free parking in front. Also the free breakfast included in the very reasonable room rate.
It's obviously a family run hotel and I'm glad we stayed here and supported their business rather than lining investors pockets as it was really clear that some courmayeur hotels had suffered ill fate and been abandoned as ruins.
So do your bit for the locals and stay with the locals!

Bar tip - Bar Roma for aperitivo around 5pm onwards. Great free food, paid drink and wonderful atmosphere.

Lunch tip - restaurant Chiecco on the slopes. Hidden away is this quirky little place that knocks out incredible Italian food.

We stayed in August 2015 when it is not the busiest place. We found the hotel to be a little dated in the rooms, and they didn't want to turn on the pool etc, which is understandable as there were not many people in the Hotel. We have stayed in Courmayeur many times over many years, and prefer to be up in La Palud, but due to non availability we chose this one.

I found the price to be too much for what it gave us, but otherwise is was clean.

Room Tip: If you like Rivers, go the riverside, if you don't like Rivers - DO NOT!!!

We have just returned from a 5 night visit and this is a little gem of a hotel.Situated only 5 minutes from the ski lift and 10 minutes into the center, the rooms are large, comfortable and really warm. The dining room and bar are cosy and the food is home cooked and good. The wine menu is well priced, only 12 Euros for a really nice bottle of red wine. What distinguishes this hotel though are the staff, who are really pleasant, helpful and kind.We will definitely stay here again.

Decent room, nice shower, fresh breakfast. Reall close to the bubble lift up.

The evening food was well priced as well. We really liked staying here, and it is only a short walk from town (10 mins) but downhill on the way back, so the best way.
