Lovely hotel with a beautiful view from my room. The room was quite and clean even though a few bits an bulbs were a touch tatty in the bathroom. The restaurant Manager was very helpful with a great knowledge of the local wines. He also suggested an amazing dinner. The only downside of this hotel was the reception staff. The guys who dealt with us were abrasive and unfriendly...aprat from that the ospitality given to us by the restaurant manager Paolo, I think his name was, made it up for the unkind reception staff. I'd definitely spend another night or two there.

Room - would have been very nice if it wasn't sweltering hot. The AC didn't work, no fan was available and the refrigerator didn't work. The staff technician said these items were all in working order. I don't think "slight breeze of warm air" is working order. The refrigerator was a "cooler" according to the staff....except it looked exactly like a refrigerator. Just with no coolant.
Staff - stone-faced, unreactive to needs unless I stood in front of him for a good minute. He had no maps and just told us to go to the city center's tourist information to find a map. That's fine but even in two star hotels in Italy, a map is usually provided. The evening staff man was kind enough to provide ice for the otherwise hot room.

We cut our three-day booking short and left after one night.

Room Tip: the AC doesn't work.

We had 9 nights here. The hotel,is wonderful! The pool outdoors was enjoyed by my 2 children! I used the steam and sauna, great after hiking all day. This hotel,is fab for summer as hikes and Pila and Mont Bianco all easy to get too. We did lots of hikes with our children, some steep indeed! White water rafting nearby too, so great hotel for an active summer holiday!
The hotel does breakfast but charges per person. Children were 5 Euros and adults 10 Euros. They have fruits, cereals, hot eggs and sausage, hams, cheese, and cakes etc. So enough for everyone.
The staff in the dinning room were fantastic as this hotel is busy!
There are some other lovely bakeries near by too.

Beds comfortable, we had a family room. Bathroom shower door leaks so a big flood on marble bathroom floor but used swimming towels to mop up the flood each night, the main negative.

Never ate dinner or lunch at hotel as we were out.

Although the building is a bit strange, with the reception on basement level, which means you have to carry your stuff down the stairs, if it doesn't have wheels, staff is really sympathetic and swimming outside in the rain at 9 pm unforgettable. Rooms are spacious, although the whole building has strange design mistakes. Like showering produced some water to run into the room, everything covered in marble though. We had a very nice view of the mountains from our room and breakfast was great - at least there was a serious coffee machine.

This place is neat and pleasant. It's a bit strange that you have to walk down the stairs with your luggage from the parking, though. Everything was comfortable there. The hotel has a gym, a sauna and a Russian (wet) sauna, two swimming pools, a Jacuzzi (cold and very noisy), and it was a good stay for us on a way to Toscana.
