I have stayed in Business hotels in Italy before and I got to say this probably ranks as the poorist. The beds were uncomfortable, the room was small and the desk and chairs were falling apart. Not exactly a four star, the only positive was that it was close to the centre and the staff were fine and did try their best to help us when they could. I don't usually eat in the hotel restuarant, but as a last resort that's what we did and their wasn't much to say the least. But we only used the hotel for sleeping in and spent most of the time in the city.

Appears that this NH hotel has yet to have a NH make over, so it looks a little dated. Well located, with a 10 minute walk to the city centre. Staff were attentive, where several requests were dealt with, including the use of a safe deposit box where rooms do not have them installed. The hotel has secure under ground parking (payable) which was great with a car full of luggage in a city centre enroute to our final holiday destination. Good selection at breakfast, although the coffee was the worst I have ever tasted. Our request for adjoining rooms was met without problem. It is on a main road so there was a bit of city traffic noise.

It's one of the NH I liked best. Good location, close to the city center. Very large, bright, clean and cozy room. Attention to details, nice staff, good breakfast.
What I disliked was that there was no free internet access in the room (only 30 min for free in the lobby, then 6 Euro/hour up in your room). I find this unacceptable.

This is a standard businessy hotel; expansive brass, mahogany and marble reception area with competent staff. The same ambiance continues into the comfortable breakfast room, could be any 4 star hotel hotel ( anywhere), with a decent breakfast and efficient waiting staff. The bedroom (we asked for a quiet one and it was quiet) was businessy also, scrupulously clean, nicely carpeted; large comfortable bed, linen changed daily. The decor was 'businessy' in the late 80s manner, Picasso inspired linear matchstick men panel over the bed and 'pegboard' design (and spotty wallpaper) . The lighting on the bedside tables was pleasant and, importantly for those who like a bedtime read, it was bright enough (which sadly often is not the case), that in in the bathroom was stark enough for an operating theatre. The businessy exterior of the hotel, as one can observe from the bus stop across the road, is at odds with the graciousness of the prevailing early 19thC. Piedmontese style that surround it. None of this would merit any comment but that it was all incredible value €200 for two for 3 nights, all in a city centre hotel in charming Turin. An interesting 5 minute bus/ tram ride from outside the hotel brings you to most places in the centre. And 300 yards up the road on the Corso V. Emanuele is a super little restaurant the 'Emporio Gastronomico'. Simple, wholesome food, perfectly cooked and served, very good staff and most reasonably priced. Yes! and Turin is delightful, like a marriage of the best of France and Italy.
