The hotel we usually use in Turin is closed for refurbishment, so tried this which aspires to be a similar standard and was in the same part of town. Checked in and asked for a quite room, given a large room on a corner where the road crosses the pedestrian area, so constant noise of traffic braking and accelerating away. (also head n the shower was encrusted with dirt). Asked to change and were assured that although new room was small it was inward facing and would be silent. Except the hotel lets customers from its restaurant use the garden area under our window to drink and carouse all night, on two occasions asked front desk to see if it could be toned down after midnight and on third occasion had to ask around 3.00 am. Had paid in advance, hotel full as were other hotels as it was the week of the Salone del Gusto, our reason for being in Turin, so not many options. Spoke to duty front of house manager to be told that they were customers too and they had to respect their wishes, although he could see my point. The point is if you think a hotel should be providing a reasonable nights sleep for its guests, give this a miss.If you think its reasonable to be kept up to the small hours with the staff unwilling/unable to anything about it, join me and never go back. Their cafe on the corner at ground floor was delightful, indicating that they do know what good service is, but when it comes to confronting rowdy customers at night they don't want to know and can't even be bothered locking the door or turning the lights off in the offending area, much less have some house rules that they can fall back on.
