As the oldest gelateria in Turin, (Italy ??), worth a visit, just to say you have been there.
This cafe/bar/gelateria does great cocktails, ice cream cocktails, and even alcoholic ice cream cocktails !
If the weather is good, the outside tables offer a great view of the piazza for people-watching and admiring the architecture. Gelatos are from 5 euros, upwards for 2 scoops/ flavours, and drinks come with little table snacks.
Legend has it, that in 1939, this place was one of the originators of the "Penguino". ( An ice cream on a stick, covered in chocolate: I.e., the modern-day Magnum). It enjoyed it's celebrity until the late 1980's, when technological advances allowed multinationals to take over the market.
A pleasant place to linger for an hour or so.
