We were there yesterday for dinner.
Pizza tasted sour, because clearly they had used pizza dough from the day before that had fermented (no such thing as "sourdough pizza"). Ingredients were sub-standard (cheese was plasticky and ham was dry and rubbery).
Servers were rude, down to berating us for not passing on a plate (server "had to reach for it") AFTER we had received our pizzas and started eating.
Our friend who had meat was not happy either. Meat was rubbery and tasted like it had been left sitting there for a while and had been microwaved.
Owner did not let us pay individually, but arbitrarily "split the bill" for us, although some of us had chosen very differently priced menu items. I did not particularly care for his patronizing, condescending attitude either. BTW, I speak native Italian, so it was definitely not a case of "lost in translation".
We had been at this pizzeria before, mid-week, in July, and fare and service had been better. Not much, but reasonable. So, what changed? It was a Monday night in August in a comparatively-speaking small town. Everything else was closed. No other pizza options within a mile or so.
So, unless, as it was for us, this is your last resort on a Monday night in August, I would not recommend eating here. They definitely exploit the lack of competition.
