The hostel is about 15-20 mins walk from the main centre of Milan, but I found it hard to find, even on my 3rd day, as it’s in an area where a lot of the streets look the same and you need to zig zag through using your phone to help you.
The hostel itself is nice - there is a room to leave luggage downstairs so if you arrive early or checkout long before your flight, you can leave it there and come back later.
The room I had was for 6 people. They have these novelty stair cases for people on the top bunks, which are more like going upstairs rather than climbing a ladder, which is cool, but they do creek really badly when people go up and down.
The bathroom is an en-suit with a huge sink, 2 very tiny showers and 2 toilets which can be locked. The showers are so small, there is barely room to turn around in but I wasn’t to bothered about that.
The staff were friendly and helpful - I probably would book this place again if I come back to the Grand Prix.More
