This hotel is outstanding. Loved everything about it. The staff were so helpful and the location is superb. Nothing was too much trouble.
Can't rate it highly enough

We stayed at the Park Hyatt Milan at both ends of an Italian ski trip. We were travelling with four children aged 3 to 12 and stayed in a suite plus an extra inter-connecting room for the kids.

The suite was well equipped, as you would expect in a Park Hyatt. The living room was rather small but the bathroom spaces were huge and provided lots of space to store or lay out suitcases and to hang clothes which is a real benefit of allocating the available space in this way.

The rooms we had looked out into an internal courtyard. it is not the best aspect but it seemed even the rooms that overlooked the street do not have really very much to look at.

Full marks to the reception staff. We arrived very early in the morning, our rooms were not ready but they gave us two other rooms immediately so we could all change, shower and rest after a very long flight. We were moved into our booked rooms a few our later with minimal fuss.

The room service food was excellent and fairly priced. There was a reasonable children's menu fairly priced as well.

The only criticism of the hotel that could reasonably be made is that it is a little bland. But that is compensated for by the fact that the hotel overall demonstrates a very high standard of competence consistently across all departments from food and beverage, to housekeeping to reception and even to the doormen and porters.

There is also the location, which is second to none in Milan - basically adjacent to the Galleria, and only a minute walk to the Duomo.

This is the best business hotel my wife and I have ever stayed in, and it would have to be in the top 5% of all hotels we've been in after 30 years of overseas travel. The rooms are gorgeous, the amenities abundant, the WiFi free (as it should be in every hotel), the public areas are excellent, and the concierge desk is THE BEST - they know everything. They were able to find a store selling knitting wool close to the hotel that was open on a Sunday!

My only niggle is that breakfast - admittedly an oustanding buffet - is extra.

This is a superb hotel. It is sedately elegant and modern, has a wonderful staff and is in a fantastic location within minutes of just about everything you will want to see or do in Milan.

I will not rewrite other earlier, more detailed reviews. However, it is worth noting a few things. First, the staff could not be more helpful. Checking in and out could not have been easier. They all greeted us warmly every the we entered or left the building. They answered all of our questions and the concierges made a number of restaurant reservations well ahead of our arrival via email request. If they give you walking directions, they will be perfect to a "t".

The rooms were a little small for a hotel of this caliber, but it is a historical building, so it is forgivable. They make up for it with high ceilings and very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are amazing - like mini-spas with great water pressure in the shower. Turndown service never failed to leave plenty of bottled still water and a little bag of delicious chocolates.

Wireless internett worked beautifully. It is really fast and you can stream video and plug into a VPN easily. You just have to know to go to Google's homepage first to sign in (and you have to do this daily).

Food is an expensive proposition at the Park Hyatt ($16 for orange juice? Really?), but with so many wonderful options a short stroll away, there is no need to feel captive to the hotel at meal time.

A lovely hotel experience all in all. Highly recommended.

Probably the main reason most peope choose to stay here is the almost perfect central location with walking distance to most areas. Ignorance dictated we arrive on the same afternoon that the Giro d'Italia cycle race ended in the adjacent Doumo area, we were eventually rescued by the concierge staff after driving round blocked streets for over an hour. Respect.
Knowing the restaurant was closed on Sundays we had booked dinners outside. If the chaos and poor service at breakfast was an indicator, probably a wise decision. Under-staffed, poorly trained.
The room itself, a Park King, was fine but why oh why does style have to equate to rooms so dark you cannot see what you are doing? The small windows give no respite even in daylight hours.
First night an incessant whining noise kept us awake most of the night, finally figured out it was a noisy air-con fan. Switched off the following night, much better.
Again, it is the location that will draw guests here, if you don't mind a 10 minute walk there are better hotels available.

Dear Sir,

thank you for your kind review and feedback.
We do apologize if the air-conditioning fan was not working properly and I hope you informed us in order to fix it.
Surely our location is fantastic but I hope that our reputation and guest loyalty is mainly due to the professional service and warm attitude of the entire staff.
We look forward to welcoming you back and showing you the real and authentic service we always strive to give. In case, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be pleased to assign you an external and brighter accommodation.

My warmest regards
Claudio Ceccherelli
