A nice hotel with a good location, friendly staff and freshly renovated facilities. Special thanks to the bartender at the groundfloor bar, who was very helpful. In general, a good value for the money paid

Was not too sure about the hotel when first pulling up to the front door, but once inside found a superior property very well kept up and a friendly staff always willing to help with any questions you might have. The room I stayed in was a standard single room which proved to be quite roomy for a European hotel. The room also had a very large veranda accessible by a sliding door from the room. This was exceptionally handy, as I could open the door to get nice fresh air in the room from the outside as well as relax outside if I wanted to. Only thing I found strange about the room was the incredibly small entry to the shower. The door entry is probably no more then 18 to 20" wide. Was a really tight fit for a stout person like me. If you also fit in the stout category, you might want to make sure you get a room with a tub and shower. This is the only reason I gave the review 4 stars. Otherwise, the room, hallways, lobby and all public areas of the hotel were immaculate. This is such a big plus to me when staying at a hotel and this place was absolutely no dissapointment in that category. The hotel also offers a free breakfast buffet with your room. It is quite a spread and will get you off to a great start for your day. Another plus was super good and reliable free Wifi in the room. But probably of greatest benefit to this hotel is its close location to the Navigli area which has numerous great restaurants in all price categories and gastronomic choices. Great pizza places very nearby. Plenty of outdoor bar/restaurant combinations as well. And finally it is literally a five minute walk to the Metro station that will then take you anywhere you want to go in Milan for about the price of a McDouble hamburger. One day I took the train to Florence and the Metro took me directly to the main train station in Milan in 15 minutes. No transfer to different lines to get there. You take the green line all the way there. Easy, easy. You can get to the Duomo in a little more then 10 minutes to 15 minutes depending on time to transfer to other lines to get there. So if you are looking for a well located, friendly, reasonably priced hotel, the Art Hotel Navigli is a great choice.

This was a great pick. The hotel is situated in the old part of Milan, where there are still some canals, and a street fair at the cross street next to the canal. It is a relatively short ride from Linate Airport . The hotel is situated over old Roman ruins, which are highlighted by glass domes over the areas of excavation. The hotel has been decorated in a modern fashionable Milanese style, and has original contemporary art works, including paintings, brass and other sculptures, and large Art glass pieces featured throughout the hotel, as well as several outdoor Garden areas, both covered and non covered. There is a gorgeous Japanese style sauna area on the roof, and a pool. The rooms are stylish and comfortably appointed . The included buffet breakfast was outstanding, including a station for making your own vegetable or fruit smoothies, boiling your own fresh eggs, as well as bacon, eggs, chocolate croissants, fresh salami, prosciutto, cheeses, fresh breads, fresh juices, and even multiple gluten free dessert options. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is even a car park.

Room tip: Price was mid range , but with luxury accommodations.

This property is located steps away from one of the canals. The lobby is small, but opens up to a much larger seated space to have a cocktail or snack and as in the name, there are lovely works of art to view. A friend drove me to the hotel and we had to park a bit away (there was no parking in front of the hotel) and walk with my bag. It wasn't a long walk, but something to note if you do the same. When picked up by the taxi, I was met right in front of the hotel with no issues.

The room was very spacious and for just one person, more than enough. It had a separate seating area from the bedroom with plenty of closet room and a bathroom. The view from my bedroom was to a courtyard below and other structures, but no view to the canal.

There are so many restaurants very nearby (within walking distance) and the canal was beautiful. The hotel is quite central, if you are willing to walk to get to many of the historical sites. Staff was very friendly and helpful and there were no issues having them hold my bags for the day and helped me hail a taxi that took credit cards.

We were on a motorbike trip looking for a city hotel in an attractive area with some good locations fro eating and drinking around. Art Hotel Navigli is the place to go..!
It has a closed garage fro the horses, nice and well equipped rooms and a fantastic breakfast buffet. There are countless bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Also closeby a subway station which leads right into the city
