The hotel offers parking facilities but to get to the hotel you have to use a traffic reduced street controlled by camera's. According to the website you report your plate number at the hotel reception and then the police allows you to access the hotel as temporary resident. THIS IS NOT TRUE! Just before the expiration date, the Milanese police sent a traffic fine for exactly doing this. Foreign plates are easy victims. Appeal, obviously in Italian only, is made virtually impossible for foreign visitors. Contacted the hotel three times about it to no avail. Hence: never again.

Slick hotel and very affordable. Great, attentive and friendly service, all the amenities you could desire. Clean. Good bed. Nicely situated in the Navigli district. Plenty of entertainment and shopping nearby.

This is a nice little hotel with a great location in the lively and interesting Navigli district. We stayed there as a family for two nights in July in two connecting double rooms. The AC could probably be a bit more efficient and Wifi was a bit slow, but overall it was a very enjoyable stay and the rooms where very clean and fairly spacious. Charming original interiors complemented with modern bathroom, beds and lighting.

Staff was very friendly and efficient, both at checkin/checkout and breakfast. The breakfast was very fresh and abundant - a great start for a day of walking in Milan!

The Navigli district was a bit new to us; it's a leisurely and nice 30 minute walk into the Duomo, so not quite in the city center but very lively and filled with fun shops. A nice contrast to the Duomo area and a great spot to return to at night and grab a dinner in one of the many restaurants right outside the hotel by the canal (but be sure to book a table inside to avoid the mosquitos).

If you arrive by car, then the hotel offers great parking in its own garage right underneath the hotel with elevators to the lobby. It's a bit tricky to get there though as the hotel is inside a pedestrian zone (but car traffic to the hotel is exempted - this is why they need your license plate info on arrival). Set your navigation system to the intersection of "Ripa di Porto Ticinese" and "Alzaia Naviglio Grande", then head down "Ripa di Porto Ticinese" and into the pedestrian zone and turn right onto "Via Angelo Fumagali".

I would definitely stay there again!

We stayed in the Art Hotel as a family for 2 nights.
It's in a great location - the Navigli is a lively and friendly location that comes alive in the evening.
Too many restaurants and bars to mention.
The hotels public areas are arty and interesting. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was a bit tired looking and very dark.
Unfortunately there was work going on on our floor which was very noisy, with workman drilling and hammering.
The hotel were accommodating and we received recompense.
The breakfast was outstanding.
I would recommend this hotel for its location and easy access to the main areas of Milan.

Location is superb, breakfast is excellent, good fitnessfacilities. Hotel needs an update, but the italian chaos also has it's charmes. The complementary snacks in the afternoon and friendly personnel complete the picture. Absolute a recommendation for a short stay in Milan.
