Really enjoyed staying at the Marriott in Milan! The rooms are really beautiful and clean. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. They also have a lovely boutique in the hotel which has amazing brand name stuff; you'd think it was expensive since it is a hotel boutique, but their prices are actually better than at the designer stores. If you see something here that you like, buy it!! The location is also good, across the street from a grocery store and a nice little local bakery and cafe that you can eat breakfast or a snack at.

There was no cooling even though winter is over. Room temperature went to 29 degrees Celsius!!

The bed is sagging at the middle due to over-use.

Hotel rooms were nice, if a little dated. Stayed in March and room was very hot, front desk said they aren't allowed to turn on the air conditioning until April! They did bring a fan up to the room and I opened up the windows which did help but just don't expect a nice cool room for sleep. Location was much better than I had thought. Walk to the Duomo area was nice, not too far, about 30 min, and lots of shops and sights along the way. All service form employees, from the front desk, restaurant, bellman etc etc was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet downstairs was great if you can get it included in your rate, excellent cappuccinos! No iron in the room and costs 6 euros for them to press a shirt for you! Would definitely stay here again.

marriott at milan is a terrible place... very bad service... we were doing an event at their hotel... ahd requested an early check in. but was given the room only at 230. every hour the receptionist says 'come back in 1 hour'... it was for the entire team of almost 10 to 12 people... the hotel looks tacky with its stupid old curtains... bad floors... worn out elevators... rooms are of ok size.... the ceiling at the venue (ballroom) was coming apart. the banquet staff were terrible...NEVER EVER STAY THERE...even though the location is great

We stayed 3 nights here at the Marriott Milan and really enjoyed it. The location is a bit of a walk from the metro, but not too bad - about 5-7 minutes. We like to walk so we didn't mind the 30 minute or so walk to the Duomo. This location was also convenient to visit da Vinci's Last Supper fresco at Santa Maria delle Grazie which was the primary purpose of our trip. As gold members we had a really nice room on the 6th floor overlooking a park. The lounge had very limited availability since it was the weekend so they included the buffet breakfast downstairs. Very wide variety of food available as well as cooked to order hot items and great espresso, cappuccino (of course, it's Italy!) and even green tea. When we were able to have breakfast in the lounge it was an abbreviated version of what is available downstairs but still quite adequate for our needs. Just be aware that the room is really tiny but the service is nice. What was particularly impressive for us was the staff - very friendly! Especially Symonette (hope I spelled that correctly) at the front desk who cheerfully checked us in and showed us on a map everything we needed. Brava!
