I visited for a Saturday to Monday trip with a group of friends for some sightseeing, culture and a Sunday visit to the San SIro to watch AC Milan

The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and not a bad size.

Breakfast was pretty much what you'd expect. Choice of decent coffee, slightly dodgy fruit juice, boiled & scrambled Eggs, Bacon, cheeses, meat cuts, yoghurts, Fresh pastries, breads, cereals, fruit etc

WiFi worked well although having to enter multiple log in details every time was a bit of a hassle. There are 2 computers in the lobby for customer use with a printer which was handy.

Had a small beer at the hotel bar. 4 euros seemed a little steep but not too bad.

Room Tip: Had a room on the first floor but it was a quiet street so no problem there.

We were only in Milan for a night to go to the opera. The hotel was ideal for our needs. It was close to where we had to drop off our rental car...an easy walk back from the train station. It was close to the Metro and we used this to get quickly to the places we needed to go to. Great room with a gorgeous bathroom. We were able to leave our luggage with them the next day until we were ready to leave later in the day. There was great shopping on the Corso Buenos Aires.

Stayed for 5 nights in a twin room. Very quick and easy check in, very polite staff on the reception, all of whom spoke excellent English.
The standard twin room we stayed in was on the outside of the building, and did come up a bit on the small side, but that's not a complaint, just a point to be aware of it you think it might bother you. That said, there was a small balcony.
Breakfast fine, reasonable buffet choice.
Very easy to get to from Centrale station, only about 10 - 15 mins walk. Just round the corner from Corso Buenos Aires too, so in a really good location for travelling around the city, particularly as it's near two Metro stops and various tram lines nearby too.
Free wifi access, and two computers in reception available.
Would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: I saw into some of the rooms overlooking the internal courtyard, These were bigger, but I assume th...

I stayed 27/8/11 in room 218 (single) for EUR68 incl b/f - prepaid on Booking.com. I received an efficient check-in - not overly friendly but polite. I was pleased I could check in early after long flight from Aust. Nice quiet residential street. I felt very safe walking from Centrale to hotel at night on my own indeed I didnt feel unsafe anywhere in Milano CBD.

Hotel iwas reasonably easy to find-around 800m walk from Milano Centrale and MXP Shuttle buses. Good well kept hotel with lovely public areas albeit rooms are very small ie. only 1 metre extra space around the bed. Nice double doors open up to look over the street - pleasant residential outlook. Bathroom was small but good quality fixtures. Lovely linen and plenty of good quality bathroom products. Minibar and coffee/tea making facilities. Good value for EUR68 (August holiday period therefore rates were low) - but not worth much more than that. I would be outraged to pay EUR245 for the same room during exhibition times. Bed/pillows were very comfortable.

Breakfast was ample - eggs, bacon, cold meats, yoghurt, cakes - good variety. Coffee by way of self service machine but very decent - you just have to queue up and wait in busy times.

Good for 1 night transit stay - any longer I would make sure I stay closer to the Duomo or Metro Napoleone (near Teatro Scala) where all the fun/shopping/action is. It becomes a pain walking backwards and forwards 25 mins from hotel to Duomo area.
