I stayed here for 3 nights with my husband and 2 boys(7&3) The hotel staff was very nice, polite and helpful. There are also free parking at the front of the hotel before heading in to the paid hotel garage parking, but bare in mind its first come first serve parking. Hotel is closed to the tram that gets you to the center of Milan where all the must see n dos there. The location of the Hotel is not at the best area as we found lots of homeless and the buildings around looks very run down. The hotel room itself is super tiny especially with the 4 of us in a room, but at least the boys had their own bed.

We had dinner at the restaurant on our lasted night there and i have to say it was delicious and the price was okay for hotel standard. Would i go back? No but that is more to do with Milan as a city i do not find it as beautiful or charming as other Cities in Italy.

Stayed at this hotel for one night on the last evening of our Trafalgar tour. The elevators were out of order, the main door was off an alley-way. The neighborhood looked real bad, lots of graffiti on walls of bldgs near by, and not near anything nice. Rooms are so tiny you feel like you are in a closet, beds and pillows very, very uncomfortable. Had to take a sleeping pill just to get to sleep. Air condition not working, and furthermore, found a large black bug running across our floor. Could not figure how the shower works. I would have walked out if this had not been included in our tour. Extremely disappointing. I did not even open our luggage, afraid I might bring a bug home with us. Don't stay here, you will be very very sorry. Our stay was on May 25, 2012. I would not go back even if they offered a free room.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else.

Unfriendly staff, especially the bartender. He doesn't like tourists and he pretends not being able to speak English. He only knows how to say numbers, when he gives you the bill. Moreover, on the bar menu they sell 40 cl draft beer, but they give it in a glass that can contain max 30 cl. Price = 7 euro, which is more than the price for a bottle of 33cl (6 euro)!
The breakfast buffet does not have many different food choises, it can be compared with the Ibis buffet! Not 4 star worthy!
We stayed for 4 nights, 1 of the 2 elevators was out of order for the entire period. We could use the service elevator, but it wasn't indicated + you arrived downstaires behind the scenes.
We have visited several ACCOR brands, (from Ibis up to Pullman) and in different coutries, and this was the worst Accor stay ever.

Well it feels rundown because for some strange reason the decor is dark grey and they provide plastic cups in bathrooms and paper cups with tea making machine. But it's a typical Novotel and provides great value for money. Will definitely stay there again, though will carry my own tea cup next time.
I had read some mixed reviews about it and still took a gamble. very relieved that it paid off. The staff was very cordial - helpful in many ways. Breakfast is strictly average, but starts early @ 6 AM. I did't notice many eating options in walking distance. But stay there by all means if you are looking to save money. The rooms are quite comfortable; not worse off compared to any other 4 star (except the paper tea cup, off course). Very clean. is well connected to Milano Centrale thru bus route 42 with high frequency and only 15-20 minutes travel time. and to other parts of Milan by tram. (Tram will give you a better access to the City).

Room Tip: The campus is shared with an IBIS
