The hotel is located directly off the highway and only a short distance from Linate airport. A bus and tram station is close by and offers a good connection to the city center. Best is to use the ATM app and a 24 hour ticket.

The rooms have the updated Novotel style and ours was clean and quiet (no street noise, no airport). Check-in took long compared to other hotels. Service at the bar was so-so. Coffee at breakfast came off a big dispenser and used dishes piled up on our table (no service).

Bottom line: Good location with good rooms, but spotty service only

Room Tip: Use bus and tram (and metro). A 24 hour ticket costs 4.50 EUR.

We chose this hotel since it was near the airport and advertised a shuttle to the airport. When we arrived we were told it was first come and only eight people could be accommodated at a time on the shuttle.
Even though it was October in Milan, our room was warm when we arrived. We turned on the air conditioner - but it would not start. When we called the desk, we were told that the air would not come on since it was 'cold' outside (72 F). We could open the window - which brought in bugs at night and noise from the street.
We were surprised at the lack of customer service at the hotel. We found the staff to be abrupt and were further surprised that as we left, we were not asked how our stay was.

Thank you for sharing your experience at Novotel Milano Linate on the community of TripAdvisor.
I’m sorry to read that the services offered and the quality of our performances weren’t at the high of your expectations.
As you mentioned, we have a free shuttle bus service available for our guests that works every half an hour and has a limited seats of course.
We always inform our guests, if they requests.
Regarding the temperature, both the air conditioning and the eating aren’t working because of the variable weather.
The hotel has a centralized system that, once activated works only with a/c or eating. Not at the same time.
I’m sorry if you didn’t feel helped or if anybody of the staff asked you if every was fine or not.
I apologies and I hope you will give us another chance to better serve you.

We stayed at the hotel the night before our flight back to the US. We had a nice, clean, comfortable room with a nice sized bathroom. As our flight left at 7:00 am, we needed to get to the airport by 5:00 am. Unfortunately, the hotel shuttle does not start running until 5:30. A taxi from the hotel to the airport runs in excess of 20 euros this early in the morning (disappointing to us as we thought we would be able to use the complimentary shuttle and furthermore thought we were located closer to the airport). Additionally, we chose this hotel because we thought we could get into town easily and inexpensively. We paid 30 Euros to get to the Duomo the evening we arrived from the hotel. All in all, the hotel facility was fine but the proximity to the town center and even the airport was not what we had been less to believe

Your opinion is always welcome for us and we will keep in mind all the precious suggesions you wrote us.
Our shuttle bus service has a sheduled time table, from monday to friday from 05.30 every 30 minuts until 11.15 p.m. During the weekend is from 06.00 a.m. till 11.00 p.m, always every 30 minutes. It's a very short distance, only 10 minutes, 4 km.
Before that time we can call a taxi.
For the next time, if you like, there is the stop of the tram n. 27, only 2 minutes walking from the hotel, that connects directly to the center of Milan .
The cost of the ticket is €3 to go and come back.
Thank you once again for your loyalty to the Accor Group and i hope to see you again in Novotel Milano Linate!

Great stay in the Hotel with great and kind staff nice rooms and delicious food. You can stay in summer and enjoy swimming pool or evry time during year you can do shopping in the centre of Milano. We love stay in our prefer hotel NOVOTEL MIlano Linate Airport and enjoing pleasent time.

The cost of this hotel led me to believe the rooms would not be very good. I was wrong. The decor of the room was very modern and it was clean. There was plenty of room to walk around the room and the bathroom was very clean and bright. Enjoyed the one night we stayed at the Novotel.
