Owner description: For sheer belle époque splendor, this extravagant 19th-century glass-topped, barrel-vaulted tunnel serves as a lively, noisy and colorful shopping mall, teeming with life and inviting you to people-watching from the tables that spill from the Galleria's many bars and restaurants.

“Grand shopping arcade with equally grand price tags!”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

One the most beautiful shopping arcades architecturally. This place is right next to Duomo di Milano (Milan Cathedral). It has showrooms of some the top end brands. Naturally they are quite pricey but good for window shopping and worth pushing through the crowd.

“Excellent architecture”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

Brilliant place if you are into great architectural buildings; This is definitely one of those places you can only watch in awe! The designer brands of high quality are all t here, but didn't have much time to browse, the limitations of being in a bus group tour and limited time before we start our second cruise around Europe.

“Architectual Beauty at Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

Amazingly beautiful from the outside but you can never imagine what's on the inside. A beautiful roof, marble floors and exquisite, exclusive fashion and desinger stores. Inside there is the famous bull on the tile floor. In order to have good luck. You are to place your foot on his main part and spin around. The stores and places around to eat are high class and high price. But walk a block or two down and you can find local places to eat with sandwiches and pizza to go. In Milan they charge a sitting fee to eat in cafes ansn restaurants. Usually 2 eurios a person. Be warned.

“Tread in the Footsteps of the Wealthy”
Reviewed 3 July 2014 via mobile

This stunningly elegant arcade houses the luxury designer brands beloved of the wealthy Milanese. The glassed roof and marble mosaics offer respite from the searing heat of the day. If your income doesn't stretch to a fashion item you can have a coffee or Campari in the first bar the Campari family opened in Italy. There is also an excellent bookshop with some bargains too. Tourists are encouraged to place a heel on the mosaic of Taurino the bull. If you turn three times without lifting your foot you will apparently return to Milan (hopefully to stay in the 7star hotel whose incredibly discreet entrance is within the gallery. Only 3 hotels in the world share this ranking!). Here's hoping!

“Only window shopping available ;)”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

The whole building is absolutely amazing. It's worth to struggle with the huge crowd, which is totally everywhere! You don't have to pay to enter, but you obviously have to pay if you wanna buy something and this is not a small money. That's why I decided to do only window shopping when walking around this building ;) . I simply loved the entrance to the mall, the main entrance from the front of the Duomo. All the decorations will leave you speechless.
