Located on the waterfront in Lecco. This upscale restaurant serves great food priced accordingly. We ate outside in the well-protected overhang of the upper floors of the building above. We ordered the meat and cheese board antipasti - tagliatelle di salumi, which we would recommend as an authentic starter for anyone travelling in Italy. Next course was a risotto with Parmesan and perch fillets caught in local Lake Como - something only available here. Yum! Smooth and buttery, the perch were golden brown and crispy. Next course was six gamberoni (prawns). Good but pricey. We had a local white wine but unfortunately all wines at this restaurant were pricey no matter where they were from. Dessert was picked from a table inside - my wife had pannecotta with raspberry coulis, she picked for me an apple crostata (open faced apple pie with cookie crust) and a welcome change from the overly sweet desserts common to Italy. Very good. Finished off with caffe macchiato - perfect. They forgot to include the dessert on our bill. We brought this to the attention of our waiter, but after going inside, he came back out and indicated there would be no charge. And a moment later provided us with two free limoncello liqueurs.
