Lovely welcoming hotel in good location for the town. Fantastic breakfast, masses of fresh fruit, yoghurt, meats, cheeses, cooked breakfast also available. Daniela and Sandro are so helpful and run a great little hotel. We would highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again. Good value. Santa Margherita is a vibrant town, loads of busy bars and restaurants, Antonios and Angelo's were two of the best we visited whilst there, excellent food and service

We have returned to the Hotel Villa Anita many times. Always a delight. Daniela and Sandro look after us and this little Gem of a Hotel is a must-stay for us. Mother and Daughter trip this time, May 8th, 9th & 10th and it didn’t disappoint. Amazing home-cooked breakfast and beautiful dinner in-house. Every detail thought of and is of a very high standard. Short walk to the Portofino ferry. We highly recommend and will come again!

A wonderful place with everything from the people who run the Villa to the amazing breakfasts, very clean and tastefully decorated rooms. Stop looking, just stay here. You will wake up listening to a few song birds in the morning...

We had such a nice stay here. We had the room on the top floor. Its not huge, but it has everything you need. What makes this place so great is the people who run it. They are so helpful and friendly and seem to genuinely like helping their guests. The breakfast spread was truly amazing, the largest of any hotel we stayed in on our trip. The town ihas plenty to offer. There was an antiques market along the harbos on the saturday we were there.

Room Tip: We liked the top floor room (there is only one) but be advised there is no elevator.

Hotel Villa Anita was in no doubt exceptional. The attention to detail was evident everywhere in the hotel.
We were very impressed with the rooms; the beds were nicely dressed and very comfortable , the bathroom was high spec and immaculate and the balcony was very large with a sun lounger and table and chairs. The breakfast was also extremely impressive and vast! Anything you could possibly wish to eat for breakfast was available!

Unfortunately it rained during our stay but during the few hours of afternoon sunshine we relaxed by the jacuzzi/pool which was immaculate and heated to a perfect temperature! The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful so it was a pleasure to spend the afternoon relaxing in the hotel.

A few people have mentioned the "climb" to the hotel - anyone that can walk can easily manage the steps!

Daniela and her team were extremely welcoming and friendly particularly to our four legged family member!

I couldn't recommend this hotel more. My family and I have stayed in many Hotels throughout Italy usually 4*+ but have found that star ratings don't really matter - it's all about the reviews! So although Hotel Villa Anita has one of the lowest star rating in the area it has been one of our favourites and one of the best Italian hotels we have stayed in and is most certainly in the 4* hotel league!
