Just a great place. Great location, great food, great wine, great staff. A little tricky to find as one access road is closed, but well worth it. We used it as a base to visit Cinque Terre and it's a far better option than La Spezia.

Fantastic stay at a wonderful place. The food, the wine, the room, everything was nice. The best of all was the people who worked there. Letizia and her staff was fantastic, always ready to answer our questions. They also make the best jam I have tasted, and their self produced wine Maddalena was exellent. To wake up every morning to a silence only broken by the roosters cry, was fantastic.

Traveling with another couple, we had an apartment with two bedrooms/two baths. An amazing share large balcony overlooking the vineyards on the left and vegetable gardens that was used to cook our dinner in the evening. Yes, dinner was great! oh, and so was the homemade wine :)

The original route was rained out and we needed to take another serpentine road to get there. Once we arrived, we were warmly greeted and showed to our room with was beautiful, over looking a vineyard with jasmine vines and lavender bushes. it was a wonderful two days of mountain seclusion.
