“Great value - very good location”
Reviewed 17 May 2015 for a stay in September 2014

This place is a great value, and has a wonderful location in Riomaggiore. Be ready to walk a lot of hills if you're visiting Cinque Terre, but this vacation rental is an easy walk to train station and restaurants, once you get down into the village itself (which is where this rental is). And Martha is so helpful with recommendations, train schedules, etc. Thanks so much.

“Wonderful stay in an adorable town!”
Reviewed 14 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We so loved our time in Riomaggiore!
Martha and Leandro picked us up straight from the train station and took us to our room right away. They were very helpful and we could text them any time with questions about our room or the town. Very friendly and sweet people.
We would highly recommend them to anyone!!!
If you're going to stay in Riomaggiore, stay here!:)

“It's all good”
Reviewed 18 December 2014 for a stay in March 2014

Everything everyone has said about Martha is true. She met us at the train station. Made sure we had everything we needed. Was great fun to talk with. When i came down with some mysterious aliment, (allergies? cold?) she was very willing to help out with translations for meds. We went on a walking tour with a Parks Guide, Martha can set this up, which for me was the delight of the trip to Cinque. ( My apologies for forgetting her name, but she was GREAT.) This is definitely a walking town, as are the other 4, so be prepared. Good place to stay, as it is in the first town. People experiences can make or break a va-cay, Martha made this part of the trip. Grazie.

“Great Location, Great Price!”
Reviewed 30 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Marthas place was great for our 2 night stay in The Cinque Terre. She was very accommodating and welcoming. Upon arrival at the train station, she was waiting for us and walked with us to the apartment. She let us in and showed us around the room (Libeccio, Green room). We had a private balcony which had a clothes line, which was great for a day after the beach to let things dry! Her place is right in town and when you step out the door, you are right where you want to be. She suggested good hikes, beaches, restaurants, which we tried and all were amazing. If I have one complaint, it is that there is no internet access. This was not good when trying to look things up online, and it was a way for us to contact folks at home. It was only 2 days, so it wasn't a huge deal. It was kind of nice to be "off the grid" for that couple days and just enjoy where we were. If they would get internet access here, it would be perfect! The room was very clean, and she does all the cleaning herself, so you know she really cares about her place. She gave us her cell number so we could call if we had any questions. We ended up calling her a couple times to ask questions and she was very helpful. The Cinque Terre is very nice and we felt very safe. The apartment has 2 keys, 1 to get in, and another to your actual room. The door to the apartment locks behind you, so it is nice knowing that your things are safe because there isn't the possibility of another guest accidentally not locking the door. If we came to Cinque Terre again, I would love to stay in Riomaggiore (its the prettiest of the 5, in my opinion!) and would stay at Martha's place again. Highly recommend!!

“Fantastic”
Reviewed 16 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

The accommodation was just as stated, it was clean and ever so handy for weary travellers. We unfortunately arrived a day late because of a train strike however our lovely landlord only charged us half price...she was entitled to full fare however her generosity shone through. We loved it there and would stay there again and certainly recommend it for its handy position and excellent set up. It is located through the tunnel from the railway station and about 1 minute if that to the door. We chose not to have a view as we don't spend much time in the room and it would have been wasted on us.
Thank you for everything it was most terrific.
