I have such a nice memory of this place, I want to return to Riomaggiore just to go there again! Nice little shop, good portion of seefood snack, walking in the street enjoying the taste. It adds sunshine to your day. Like like Like!

Fried seafood, oily, served in cone. Probably fancy to have in seaside town. But i definitely had better fried seafood.

Il Pescato Cucinato offers fresh fried fish, presented in a cone, which we use in Holland for fries. Try the catch of the day. It's nice. More of a snack than a meal.

There's always a long line, and you get what they have. Fried seafood and vegetables - it was good, quick and affordable. While it's not very noticeable, they have tartar, ketchup, mayo and other behind the counter for dipping. They sell out every day.

I know it’s a matter of taste but fried, uncleaned fish and shrimp is not for me. I wanted to try fresh fried anchovies and I could handle eating a whole fish (head, bones and scales) but found the taste to be overwhelmingly fishy. But who wants to eat whole fried shrimp, including shell, tail and legs? Is it too much trouble to clean them first? And the potatoes were fried, undercooked potato dough. This place is popular (thanks to Rick Steves) but be prepared for what you will get.
