Hotel was very nice with quality rooms and a full breakfast. Staff were very friendly and courteous and it is centrally located on the Main Street, close to everything . I would highly recommend this property.

Nice hotel at the top of the village of Monterosso. Close to parking and close to the all the restaurants and beach in the old part of Monterosso. Our room was very small, but comfortable and nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was ok, but nothing special and the coffee was not drinkable.

Beautiful hotel in the sweetest little beach town. Room was very clean; had a really nice, open lobby with indoor and outdoor seating. Very helpful and friendly staff. Down the street from a little supermarket and very close to cafes, restaurants, shopping, the WATER. Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

Hotel Margherita is in an excellent location. It is easily accessible, close to a range of eateries, bars and restaurants and shops. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The old town is an excellent place to stay, close to the ferry and the beachfront. We explored all the other towns of the Cinque Terre using Monterosso as our base. Highly recommended!

Out of the five places in Cinque Terre to stay, we found Monterosso to have been the best choice. Hotel Margherita was in a good location, had friendly staff and offered a free breakfast. The downsides to this hotel for me, was our room. We had a room in an annex building which was over a kitchen. The room was outdated and beds were uncomfortable. I believe my traveling companion located sand in her bed upon our first night. This led us to believe the sheets might not have been changed prior to our check in. Our room very easily hard every noise could be heard from the street, the kitchen and in the neighboring rooms. Now, this might not be true for all rooms, just the one we stayed in. The two things I liked about the room was a larger bathroom and a large balcony overlooking the street.

Room Tip: Do not get a room in the annex building.
