Owner description: We’ll depart from the harbor in Monterosso, the northernmost village, and cruise along the coast of the Cinque Terre, while enjoying an Italian aperitivo on board. You'll get to know the other guests on the boat while learning about the history of the area, told to you by your English speaking guide. Weather permitting, we’ll stop along the way in one of the pristine coves that only a small boat can enter for a swim in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. For Lunch Tours (€135 per person): We’ll stop in one of the villages for lunch at one of the area’s best family-run restaurants. Here we’ll enjoy a gourmet seafood lunch (alternatives available!) – be prepared for a feast!! For Sunset Tours (€85 per person): We’ll stop in one of the villages for fresh tapas at one of the area’s best family-run restaurants.

This was a great idea! Small groups allow for personalized tours along a gorgeous coastline, munching on local delicacies & a never ending bottle of Prosecco! Lunch was superb in Manarola but be warned - pace yourselves because it is quite simply a banquet! Swam in the warm sea waters & worked on our Mediterranean tans as we were returned in the glorious sunshine.
Thank you Angelo, Paula & Linda for a truly wonderful, relaxing day.

In mid may we were lucky enough to have a day out on Angelos Boat Tours.
The weather was glorious and Angelo our fantastic host cruised us along the coastline, passing the 5 Terre. This was as we nibbled on olives, bread, salami, cheese and drank prosecco.
He gave us a well informed commentary on the area and also information about the terrible floods of Oct 11.
Later we stopped at Manarola and enjoyed a fabulous lunch which included delicious seafood, yummy wines/beer and magnificent views. Angleo was a very entertaining lunch host and gave very good advice with our menu choices.
You can take the ferries between the towns but that doesn't give you the personal feel, information, close views of the Terre or the enjoyment of the nice slow boat ride with extras.
We didnt get to meet Paula (Angelo's Wife) but found her to be very prompt, professional, friendly and helpful from the time of our initial enquiry up to and including the day of the tour. She also had good recommendations for other activities(not on tourist agenda) which we also enjoyed.
A couple of companions on the boat trip were staying in their B&B accommodation and also glowing reviews regarding that.
Excellent value for money.Highly recommended. Would suggest book in advance and get clear instructions and allow adequate time to locate departure point.

We were not able to take a tour with Angelo's Boat Tours because they were booked the day we planned to be in Cinque Terre, but Paula has been so responsive and helpful with our planning that I had to add to their reviews. Even though we were not their customer she has responded to every email and helped us find an alternative tour. Thank you Paula for your kindness. It is no wonder so many people post positive reviews about you and your company.

My new husband and I booked a tour with Angelo's Boat Tours on the basis of the reviews on this site and I have to say, it was all we could have asked for and more. Angelo and Paula are just the most wonderful people--try to get her recipe for the carrots that are served up as part of the antipasti. The tour starts with a bottle (or maybe more!) of prosecco, the most wonderful antipasti all homemade by Paula, and then such a fabulous tour of each of the villages by boat.
We cannot say enough good things about our experience--truly a highlight of the trip and worth every single penny. It was one of the best days we had in Italy, and that's saying a lot, as we were in Lake Como, Rome and Florence as well. Paula and Angelo are the kind of people you become fast friends with and want to visit all the time. We will be back!!!

A very late review but such an outstanding experience that delinquent or not I had to share. Aug.1 2011 we traveled to the Cinque Terre via a Disney Cruise and had the wonderful experience of exploring the 5 Terre by boat with Angelo. We took a train to get to Monterosso and it was an easy to find Angelo's place. We had our 2 children, ages 5 and 7 along also. Of the 14 days in Europe starting in Barcelona for some pre-cruise time and flying out of Rome, we all agreed this was our favorite day. Consider this was also competing with Mickey and friends back on board at the Disney Magic!! We arrived at Angelo's a few minutes early and were told that Paola was sick with flu like symptoms and could not join us on this day. In fact they had to cancel some other excursions but had moved some things around and were still able to accomodate us, however it meant on board lunch wasn't available. They asked if we would be agreeable to a restaurant instead and we agreed. We didn't hesitate as we knew we would be well cared for. Long review short, the excursion and interaction along the way was so authentic and enjoyable even my 5 year old appreciated the beauty and experience. We jumped off rocks, snorkled had a marvelous lunch and enjoyed this beautiful coast line as it should be enjoyed. The proseco and limoncillo (sp?) was wonderful and left our family with a memory we are still talking about. We hope to return one day and without doubt will try to connect with Angelo again. I am sure every experience and outing is a little different and that is one attribute that makes this excursion so special.
