On route and visited San Marino, arrived slightly late but found this lovely little spot for lunch. The restaurant was busy with an old fashioned Italian feel. There is a vast window with the most fantastic view (also a terrace, but it was too cold!) Lots of Italians eating a Sunday meal together. Super atmosphere. It feels like a no fuss restaurant, what you see is what you get. We ate simply but it was very good Italian pasta.
We had: Ravioli tartufo 9E; Tagliatelle porcini 7.50E; Insalata della casta, nice salad with walnuts and pomegranate 4.50E; 1/4 L house red 2.0E
The total bill was 29.50 Euros, perfect price for what we had.

Summary: Good value, good food, nice atmosphere and off the tourist route!

The lovely ladies of Saponeria del Titano recommended this jewel and we were VERY glad they did because we were celebrating a special day and the place lived up -and exceeded- or expectations !

For starters the place is hidden so we did not have to wait for a table. Once inside, the rooms are very bright and airy. There are lovely views from most tables. The windows were opened and a soft breeze made for a fantastic ambiance.

They have a large wine list and menu; we had a hard time deciding what to choose. In the end, we enjoyed the fantastic local wines, heavenly. Pomegranate salad, hand-made pasta with ragu and also with tartufo (DREAMY), and profiteroles with the local moscato frizzante. We were in heaven! This restaurant has their own china printed with their logo which is very impressive and cool.

To top things up, we had a lovely lady seving us (not Marta, but the other, blonde lady, sorry for forgetting your name) who was SUPER professional, efficient, helpful, and made great recommendations that made our special day even more special: thank you so much lovely lady!

I'll never forget this day!

We came to San Marino for a short birthday break and only stayed for one night. We were hoping to get some average food here since this little village is very pretty, but even outside the main season pretty full of tourists...

But what Marta put in front of us on the table was just the most delicious food we had for a long while. Everything was so tasty and delicious, made with so much love and care - this place is pretty amazing! It's down to earth (and so are the prices) with real good Italian food.

Marta was our waiter for the evening and we really loved her. She was so funny and made the stay even more worth while - thank you!

When we come back to San Marino, I am sure to go here for dinner again!!!

And also a big thank you to the chefs, you are doing an amazing job!

This was the one the man in the tourist office reccommended - and he was right! A bit hidden away, even a couple of the local police were enjoying lunch. And so did we! Charming service, very good food (see below) and 28 euros for four courses, including the creme brulee being bruleed at the table!

A really clean, modern restaurant, but very much family owned. The head waiter appears to be the owner. He is a bit of a law unto himself and is quite short with guests. That said, if you roll with it you'll see the charm of this family-run restaurant. The food was excellent and the views absolutely stunning. Very informal dress code, but a good feeling nonetheless.
