We booked this hotel at the last minute through Agoda when we we're let down by our previously booked hotel in Ravenna. We got a very cheap rate. The room was good, spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast self service buffet style, more than adequate - croissants, cereal, fruit, toast. The location on the very edge of town meant a bus ride in to the centre to see the sites. Staff friendly and helpful.

We were a group of 12 and everyone was very happy with the comfort and modernity of this hotel, newly run by the Grosso family. They put their heart into making us as comfortable as possible, helping with any questions and serving a very good breakfast.

The hotel serves Italians with cars as it is a 15 minute bus ride into the city center. The bus stop is about 5 minutes from the hotel and the hotel provides a route map and times of the bus. Being outside of Ravenna meant a very quiet sleep :)

We spent the whole Christmas holidays in this hotel and found it was not the right time to be in Ravenna. The hotel was almost empty and a lot of shops and restaurants were closed. Weather was bad, cold and foggy. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the only pros and could find. Cons were room too small for 3 persons, wifi too slow and weak, dinner below average, .....

Placed at the centre of lower management society in italy, the hotel is surrounded by mostly empty offices and barely used or mantained carparks. Although well served for cars there is no bus as advertised on the website, no reason or apology either. Expect no suprises but no inspiration either. The public bus service can involve quite a wait and finishes at 8. You can get tickets from a nearby kiosk and save half the cost than buying them on the bus as we were advised to do. The food at the resteraunt was bland but you can find other places easily; there is MUCH better food here and it is not the emilia romagna or italian experience. However the staff are helpful if a little disenchanted. Not a 4 star hotel.

We stopped here for a night on the way to Venice. Its a very average hotel. Desk staff were nice, but the receptionist must be an olympic sprinter as she told us the city centre was a 15 min walk.. Its not, much closer to 45 and we are regular walkers. Nothing to see at all on the way either and crossing roads to get there is a bit of a challenge.

Room is very average but clean, Breakfast was included but very poor. We only stayed due to getting a booking.com 50% saving which made it tolerable

Room Tip: If you stay here and have a car drive into the city. Its much easier to partk here than other Italian cities
