It was a Sunday evening in December and not many restaurants in the historic part of town were opened. We chose this trattoria from TripAdvisor's list of nearby restaurant as it sounded like good local food. From the outside and the interior setting it looks very basic and almost a bit unappealing. But the food was good, simple and tasty. A local family next to our table was very kind to offer us advice on what is good. We took the tip to choose a combination of three pasta in one plate (Pumpkin ravioli, a local speciality; tagiatelle with fresh porcini mushroom; and camellete with meat filling) and it was a great choice. The tagliatelle with porcini mushroom was excellent - fragrant and taste. The pizza is very good with a puffy texture crispy on the outside and slightly moisture and light on the inside. The wines are just very basic as the region is not famous for it wines any way. If you are after local, simple and good food, try it and don't be put off by the decor.
