We have stayed here before and would definitely stay here again - you could not wish for a better city centre hotel.

The location is fantastic, in the middle of everything but in a quiet walkway so peaceful too. We parked our car at the car park close by - 2 mins walk.

The rooms are very comfortable, the roof bar is lovely, the whole hotel is very clean, and covid precautions are very good.

The people here are really helpful and friendly. We left some electrical items in the room when we left and they posted them back to the UK - what fantastic service.

When back in Bologna we would not stay anywhere else and will definitely be back soon.

Max (the host) at the rooftop garden of the hotel made our evening one to remember for life.
To describe this in words is hard, but:
- Place is amazing
- Ambience is perfect
- Max made everything over and above what we expected - drinks, pictures, stories, snacks, food, laugh and real human connection. A person you never forget.

We stayed at the Grand Majestic in Bologna but decided to visit the rooftop garden here - wauw! Just wauw.

Thanks Max

Stayed here a couple of nights.
Great rooftop bar ( a little pricey ) but they did give us snacks.
Room was comfortable and the shower was great.
Didn't like the blue light in the shower though.
The breakfast ( Covid safe ) was very good and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
About 900m from the train station and 300m from the main piazza.

The hotel is tucked away in a side alley off Via dell'Indipendenza, a main road with tons of shopping, restaurants, etc. Hotel Staff was very nice, WiFi worked well, AC worked well (which was great in the hot summer weather), and the bed was decently comfortable.

Breakfast was OK - due to COVID, the normal buffet was not available. The Staff did their best to serve you what you wanted, but I found the overall selection lacking.

There is a rooftop bar which was wonderful to relax in and enjoy the evening, however the drinks are very expensive.

A good choice of hotel overall, with a fantastic location in the heart of the city, and decent rooms.

Note there is no parking on site, though there are many parking garages within the vicinity. I parked at the Parcheggio RIVA RENO | APCOA, a very nice, underground garage about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Stayed at this hotel on 23-26July, it was excellent. Location is amazing, walking distance to all major attractions. Our room ( 404) has a private outdoor seating area, we sat outside every nights with our glass of wine, absolutely perfect. The room is spotlessly clean, comfy bed. Amazing staff especially the front desk lady who worked mostly evening shift ( sorry we didn’t get her name) she is most charming, and to the lady who re-set the safe in our room you are an angel ! Also, a special mention to the lady who looked after us at breakfast, thanks for being so accommodating. We loved every single minute of our stay and can’t wait to be back. Thank you Hotel Metropolitan.
