When i first saw the price of this tour, i wondered if it's overpriced. But after spending the day with Italian Days, it's worth every penny!
We got picked up at our hotel and were driven to our first stop - Parmagiano Reggiano cheese factory where we learnt about the production process and how it's different from parmesan cheese. Then we moved to a balsamic vinegar factory to see the production and enjoy a breakfast with cheeses (younger and aged types), more than 5 types of vinegar and Italian pastries. After that, we went to a prosciutto factory with all-you-can-eat kind of ham tasting. We bought some products from each point of visit because the prices were good bargain. Our guide Eleanora was very passionate about the process and made the tour much more fun. Our last stop was a "light lunch" with a lot of food, and laughters with other people in the tour. We really enjoyed this food tour and will definitely recommend to our friends.

We had an excellent day with Alessandro, who was an energetic, passionate and entertaining guide. It is worth the early start as you get a behind the scenes view of how Italian produce is made, which was very enlightening. The food and drink were non stop and the 'light lunch' will certainly leave you feeling well fed. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough, it is a must do and worth the price.

Thank Mike R
