“Daniela Senise was an excellent guide”
Reviewed 28 April 2012

This tour was an excellent way to skip the lines and get a very informative tour of the Vatican museum, Sistine Chappell and then we stayed on for the extra tour of St Peters. She even helped us skip the line for a climb to the top! She also pointed out one of the best pizza places for lunch and the best (and cheapest) gelato we've had!!
Ive been before without a tour, but would highly recommend it. Overall very knowledgable and the definitely worth it.

“Mattieo, full of information!”
Reviewed 28 April 2012

This tour was excellent!
Mattieo was full of interesting facts! He really new his stuff. He also took time to answer any questions and adviced good places to eat and where to get the best gelato.
The tour itself started on the streets and went through the vatican city and sistien chapel! All was very interesting.
However my grandma found the 2.5 hours a bit long. But she is 81, so overall it was a great tour, you learn lots in a rather short period of time!
Thanks Mattieo!!
"I love Roma" lol ;-)

“Angelo the tour guide Hero”
Reviewed 27 April 2012

My wife and I saw the queues to the entrances and knew it would be impossible. Then a nice girl approached us on the square of St Peters and gave us the solution. No lines, no queues and just pure wonderful guidence of Angelo. It shows that this is his passion, and with a degree in art history and theatre he's perfect. If you consider the entrence fees are included in the price of around 45 Euro, it's not very much for what you get.

“Glad we did this tour”
Reviewed 27 April 2012

When we first walked into St. Peter's Square, we were immediately bombarded with people wanting us to buy tours and we were skeptical, turning down the first few, but one guy reeled us in and we decided to sign up for the tour. We were skeptical, but after the tour, we were glad we did it! Our tour guide was Massimo, who spoke excellent English and was a great tour guide. The museum and Chapel were very crowded and had we gone in by ourselves we probably would have given up after five minutes of frustration. This way, we got to skip the lines and get at least a taste of what the Vatican museum has to offer. Definitely recommend this tour and you don't even have to book in advance or even search them out really, just walk into the square and you'll find them - or they'll find you! Our only complaint was that it took quite a while to get the tour started as they need to gather a large enough group, then there is a 10-15 minute intro, then you have to walk over to the ticket office (across the square and over a block or two), pay for your tickets, then walk over to the museum. It probably took a good hour or more from the time we decided to take the tour to when we actually entered the museum. But I guess we would have had to stand in line to get in anyway.

Regardless, we were very happy with our decision to take this tour and really enjoyed it

“Mattieo the excellent tour guide”
Reviewed 26 April 2012

Today I went on a guide tour using What a life tours. I didn't particularly set out to use this company I was fortunate to drop on this tour when my taxi dropped me off. When deciding to use what a life tours we were introduce to our tour guide mattieo. He was attentive, clear, concise full of interesting info and above all he knew about the Vatican. It was a pleasure to listen to him, for the 2.5hrs that he guided us. I would recommend this company.
