Very impressed with the location of this large apartment. Two windows looking out at the famous Trevi fountain. You probably have seen the windows of this apartment in many movies and pictures/paintings of the fountain. Lots of people watching just from standing by the windows. Centrally located and easy to walk to most sightseeing locations. The street right outside the entrance is blocked to all traffic but cabs can drop you off to a corner street from where you will have to walk about 100 feet to get to the door and then two flights of stairs up. Building is old but appliances and bathrooms work well. Noise or odors were not a issue during our stay, unlike some past reviews. The internet was down intermittently and the kids complained, but I was happy to see them being forced to get off their electronics and engage with the real world..
An original apartment with all the amenities you need. Was built 600 years ago and housed some of the then Popes employees. You can't beat the location at all and allowed us to do and see everything we wanted to from all the key points of interest restaurants, cafes and bars. The noise from all the traffic at the fountain was not a problem at all. Great spot to stay.
We completely enjoyed staying at Trevi Fountain Nest for 5. Even though the furnishings are dated and old, the location is excellent and being able to people watch from the windows and be directly above the Trevi Fountain was magical.
The space is quite large. With the windows open it's noisy due to the fountain and the crowds, but when you close the windows it's very quiet.
We enjoyed having a kitchenette for cooking our own breakfast. I was hesitant to stay in such a touristy area but are so glad we chose this place.
Right by the Trevi fountain, great view. Very good location. However, it was weird getting in as they hadnt turned up and were not great communicators. The room wee had was with the en-suite and it stank. Really basic and needed a bit of TLC. I wouldnt stay here for any longer that the few days we had. Not suitable for a family.
Perfect location to explore Rome on foot.Amazing view of Trevi fountain and lovely bakery just steps away .
Quite noisy due to the thousands of tourists all day and everyday and late into the night visiting the fountain itself. The nest is very spacious and special traditional Italian decor.Basic facilities(tiny kitchen,no oven but has microwave and big fridge freezer) which are fine if you are busy sightseeing .Not luxury accommodation but is priced accordingly. Two flights of stairs to your apartment so not suitable for very young children, elderley or disabled. We were two adults and two teenagers.Perfect location for a city break.Owner very helpful with taxi transfer to and from airport.Thankyou.
