Although I'd only rate this apartment 3 stars out of 5, we still really enjoyed our time. The apartment itself was basic, but had a usable kitchen, TV/dining space and bathroom/laundry. Bath/shower needs replacing, it was very narrow so water splashed out onto the floor.
The only other two things to mention was both Saturday & Sunday nights we were woken many times from the noises of the restaurants and people celebrating outside. It didn't bother us, in fact it sounded like so much fun we wanted to join! But if noise bothers you, I wouldn't recommend staying here. Also keep in mind there were two flights of stairs to carry all our heavy luggage up...hard work for my husband!
We also booked our private arrival transfer through the apartment, which was great. Pricey, but worth every dollar after such a long journey, a bad experience at Rome airport and two very tired young children. Very nice vehicle and friendly driver.
The location was amazing, the Trastevere area is full of life and lovely to take a stroll, gelato in hand! And with so many local restaurant to choose from, it's hard not to find an amazing pizza.
Would definitely consider a second stay.
