There was abit of hiccups on my checkin night but Alessandro came to the rescue the 2nd day morning of my stay. He changed my room and gave such friendly attitude that it changed my opinion of the hotel. Small and cozy place, breakfast was little selection but the hot breads was nice! Convenient to walk to Spanish steps etc. Checkout day was met with Heavy rain and Alessandro carried my luggage in the rain to the shuttle bus. im so grateful to him. Thanks for everything!!

First and foremost I would like to clarify that this is NOT an hotel. It is an inn hence the inability to display a street sign to advertise its presence.

It is important to understand this because it will set your expectations to the right level.

Excellent: The owner's service and openness was delightful. Any issues reported below was dealt with and Mr Alessandro was very helpful and honest with everything we reported.

Good: The staff was really nice and friendly. The Inn is located in a lush period building across the street (literally) from the US embassy and there is a police station just a few minutes away so very safe place.
Via Veneto is just about 100 meters and you can reach the Barberini Metro A stop in about 5 minutes walk. Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona,Spanish steps, Via Condotti, Piazza del Popolo and Villa Borghese are all also within short walking distance.
All the rooms have an air conditioning unit and cable TV which can be set to English.
All furniture is new and modern. The bathrooms are state of the art with rain shower heads.

Our room had memory foam and feather pillows, very comfortable.

The Inn is provided with a professional bar coffee and cappuccino makes so in the morning you can enjoy an authentic Roman style cappuccino and cornetto without going to a cafe!

The room has a minibar and it's free of charge.

Points for improvement:

We requested to switch room after the first night for a personal preference (to which the staff was extremely nice and accomodating), but in both rooms the bed spreads were stained.
In both rooms, there was a stench coming from the bathroom of rotten water.
Our stay was 4 nights, but the towels, although left on the floor were never changed.

Beds are a bit on the hard side and rooms are NOT sound proofed so you will hear anything and everything that goes on in the room next to you.

The air conditioning unit seemed temperamental on 3 of the 4 nights and that was bothersome as, when reception was called in all 3 occasions, did not come to the room and had to wait for the manager in the morning to fix it.
On our last night, we found an army of ants roaming the bathroom floor and were handed the killer spray to disinfest ourselves.

All that said, I believe this establishment is more suitable for young travelers who do not really care for the extra amenities of an hotel. Traveling with children, the amenities do make a difference this is why I would not recommend it for family travel, but for business and young travelers only.

Room Tip: Ask for a Rome on the lower floor (4th) and on the street side

The hotel is good, clean, confortable
Its 5 min on foot from via venetto and 10 min also on foot from fontana di trevi and spanish steps, so we were thrilled by the location plus its right in front of the US embassy so it was a calm and safe area.
The hotel breakfast though was less than average for a 4 stars hotel, you have no other options other than bread or a really bad what looked like chocolat cereals.
The wifi was also really bad, it takes half an hour for a 3 min video on youtube to work.
The great thing about roma boutique hotel is the personal, they are very helpful, they recommended great restaurants for us and also helped us with the transportation in the city.

Myself and my partner stayed here for 4 nights in July and it was perfect for our trip. The hotel is based over one floor of a building which has easy access and is in a very quiet, safe part of Rome. A five minute walk from the Hard Rock Cafe and all other sites are in walking distance, it is also very close to a stop for the open top bus.

The only improvement I would say is there were not enough plugs next to mirrors, so I would take a travel mirror so you can blowdry / straighten hair in a mirror. Also the hairdryer in the bathroom was very weak.

All 3 gentlemen that man the reception desk were lovely and very helpful if you needed advice on getting around, and the breakfast provided on a morning was more than substantial and varied - fill up if you are planning on a lot of walking!

Overall we would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again if we ever go back to Rome.

I stayed at Roma Boutique Hotel on a 5 night stay to Italy . It's centrally located so walked distance to Metro . Piazza Repubblica. Across the street from US Embassy so quite safe neighborhood at night . Several option for dinner as well . The staff was nice , the room was cleaned daily . I spent a lot of time out and about but for the small time I spent there it was fine . Please note there are located on 4th and 5th floor . You will need to leave keys with them every time you leave which was only thing I didn't like . I found that to be quite annoying. To have to keep going up and down just for that especially when you are getting back late . They should come up with a better system in 2017.
Also breakfast is included but very simple so don't expect a spread .
