Location was great! Walking distance from great restaurants and sight seeing. The bed was hard, we didn't bother to let them know because we spent little time in the room. We had three beds which left little room to move. Otherwise, breakfast was good.

Dear jewellsone,

We are very happy to read such a kind review and to know that you enjoyed your stay with us so much. All our staff members work really hard to go beyond the high expectations of our guests and we are always proud to know that we've achieved just that!
It's lovely to hear that you've also enjoyed the Spa that is located at our sister hotel. Our future guests will like to know that they will get a 50% discount on the entrance price; on the other hand, if they decide to purchase one of the wonderful massages, the admission fee to the Spa is waived.
As usual, our Front Office team is more than happy to provide our guests with more details about the Spa and the services and to book any treatments on their behalf.
Thank you again for you review and we trust we will see you again soon!

I'm surprised at the people that mentioned they had a large or decent sized room here. We stayed for six nights in August. Our room had three twin beds in it. There wasn't enough space to actually walk around the beds, we had to kind of shuffle in between them sideways. The bathroom was tiny - if you were standing at the sink, no one else could come in. We had a view of a roof and a wall.

The staff was friendly. On our second day (out of seven) we apparently left our laminated Rome map on the front desk when we were asking some questions. We struggled along for the next five days without it. When I went to check out, the man at the front desk handed it back to me. Really? We passed by you how many times in five days and you couldn't have given it back then? I pitched it in the trash, as it wasn't going to do us any good after that, we were leaving the city.

The breakfast here is quite good most days. The lady there is always smiling and happy to make a cappucino or get you a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice.

The fact that this hotel is located so close to Termini is both good and bad. It was easy to get around. But, that area also seems to have more homeless people, and our walk from the hotel to the Termini passed by an area that is obviously used as a bathroom and a changing area for these people. It was nasty. Rome itself is not clean, but that block brings "not clean" to a whole new level.

We would not stay here again if we ever did go back to Rome - although, now that we have seen what we wanted to, we likely won't be back. We loved the Cinque Terre region of Italy, not so much the big city.

Dear Sandinmypants,
Thank you for writing a review about our hotel.
We are sorry to read that the size of the room that you booked was not as large as you expected. We find it very important to be completely transparent with our future guests during the booking process, this is why in every sales channel we use we have a complete description of every room type, with pictures and actual sq/ mt, so that guests can decide which room to book, based on their own comfort requirements. In any case, our Front Office desk is more than happy to assist in finding an alternative solution, whenever possible.
Regarding the unfortunate issue with the misplaced map, we were not able to identify sooner who this might have belonged to. Unfortunately, none of our Reception team members was approached by you regarding that either. We take the opportunity to inform our readers that we also have available free city maps, for all our guests and our Front Desk is always ready to pinpoint any places of interest.
In Italy, were are very lucky to have so many wonderful and unique places, the Cinque Terre being one of them. We do find it hard to compare it with Rome though, the Eternal City, loved by those who appreciate Art and History. However, it is not our intention to judge your preferences, which is also conditioned by your personal experience.
Thank you once more for your review and happy travelling!

Stayed here for a week for our first trip to Rome. We arrived late evening but were greeted by staff who were ever so friendly and accommodating. Nothing was ever to much trouble, they were always happy to answer any questions we had and told us all the great places to visit (including the Gelateria La Romana up the road- best place for ice cream!). Our room was fairly spacious and perfect for relaxing in after a long day of sight-seeing, especially in the heat (we went in July). The room was always immaculately cleaned, the wifi was fast and the hotel is located very close to the metro (we ended up walking most places though as everything was easily accessible). Couldn't fault anything and would definitely stay again!

Stayed here for 4 days in December. It was already a bit decorated for Christmas which was very nice. The staff was super friendly - helped a lot with directions where to go around the city, where nice events were and what to do around that time. The concierge helped take our suitcases up - the elevator is tiny-tiny but that's ok, 2 people can fit.

The room was absolutely brilliant - big for a double room in Rome in my opinion: queen size bed for sure, good size wardrobe, space to move around the room and not hit your room-mate, big bathroom.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, we couldn't wait to go every morning. The staff there were super nice, remembered us every morning, remembered our orders and always asked if we needed anything. The food was divine, best selection of savoury and sweet, great drinks and good coffee!

Location is great - quiet but very close to Termini. Could get there in 5 mins walk. Our room had a view to the city, so that was amazing to wake up int he morning to.

Highly recommend it! I will definitely go there again!

Room Tip: Let the staff know what you would prefer and they will help. Best views are in the front of the hotel - towards the city.
