“Friendly host - comfortable apartment.”
Reviewed 15 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Simone is a friendly helpful host who wants you to enjoy his apt.
He speaks at least 3 languages well.
We met after simple & accurate directions to the apt.
Simone then spent time showing us how everything worked & supplied maps and details
of local points of interest.
We found it comfortable & well stocked with more than expected - especially the kitchen!
Oil, balsamic, salt&pepper, sugar, coffee! - even ice cubes!!
(I've stayed in one apartment where there was only 1 roll of toilet paper - nothing else!)
And the welcome Prosecco was a generous touch (thanks Simone).
Close enough to Termini for easy access to everything.
Full service market a few blocks away.
One evening, after being out all day, it was nice to enjoy a really good seafood dinner at the restaurant downstairs just outside the door (sorry, can't recall the name).
Street market right outside the door most mornings - good for fresh fruit at breakfast!
A little "heads up" to our fellow travelers: take ear plugs (we always do).
The street market is in full swing most mornings -
so if you want to sleep later than 6 a.m......

“Simon Wins - His Apartment has EVERYTHING for the Perfect Roman Stay”
Reviewed 12 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

SimonSuite is located in a very colourful neighbourhood of Rome. Very easy to locate from Termini Station, the apartment is just off the main road, one floor up. We travelled for 11 weeks and stayed in many apartments, however Simon has thought of EVERYTHING - including an iron & board, toaster ( no places have a toaster) we pan fried our bread (haha) A clothes line with pegs - not to mention dishwasher/washing machine - a little stool for short people like me to reach the higher cupboards...you name it - it was there - even a little screwdriver set!!!! loads of maps. he was very kind and allowed us to leave our luggage early, and he organised the cleaner to have the apartment ready a couple of hours earlier. he meets and greets and gives loads of info. Even a couple of bottles of bubbles. The location was really perfect and everything was just a bus trip away. The No 64 -affectionally known as the Pic-Pocket Express - because it is packed to the rafters and you are the an easy target ( as in any crowded situation) - gets you to most central locations - if you enjoy a walk - you can reach most locations within 20 minutes. After 10 weeks of walking we were happy to catch a bus ( however walking was sometimes quicker). We enjoyed the daily changing markets and also the local restaurants and people watching the locals. A wonderful 4 days of roaming the Roman ruins..

“Perfect As a Home Base in Rome”

Simone's apartment in Rome was a lovely and comfortable base for exploring Rome. It was within walking distance of major bus/tram and train locations so it was convenient traveling to and from the airport to the apartment and then getting around the city to the various locations we wanted to explore. There was a charming restaurant next door and an outdoor market outside the apartment (set up during the day) where we were able to purchase fresh fruit, etc. Simone greeted us upon arrival with glasses of delicious prosecco, a map and very helpful information about Rome. The apartment was well stocked and even had coffee and cereal for an early breakfast before we headed for our first tour the next day. The apartment was a welcome respite when returning home after busy days and since several of the days were warm the availability of air conditioning was most appreciated. The wi-fi was very helpful and worked well, too. We would definitely recommend this apartment!

“Wonderful stay in an excellently located apartment”

We had a wonderful stay in early June this year in Simone's apartment! It is conveniently located with a daily fresh market in the same street, a supermarket a block away and two metro stations within 5-7 minutes' walk. We had a great time in Rome, cooked and ate really well. We really appreciated the fact that the apartment had some if basic ingredients and spices one would need to cook. Thank you, Simone!

Simon's suite was in a great location...lively market below the window ..so the rythym of the city floated through the windows but i was happy with this...still slept well ...it was close to everything and the local bars and restaurants were good also ..it's a stones throw away from Termini ever so handy ...Simone is a gent ...left a mobile phone for us ....went through the map and even invited us to join him for drinks and language exchange ...what a lovely gesture very genuine person ...what can i say ...stay at Simone's!
