me & my husband stayd at this hotel for 7nights we had it booked fore months, realy looking forward to going, when we arrived at the pemonte hotel it seemd ok, untill we went to the room, the room wasent located in the hotel it was outside & around the coner, we had a bunch of keys to get in & out the room you had to go threw 4,doors with locks before we reatch our room, the room was verry small and un,clean ther was no window it was like a prison cell, verry noisey with young people in & out all night, breakfast was ok, realy thort i should share this report to others as my holiday was spoild, & wouldent like enyone elce to exsperance what we did, rome is a stunning city fantastic to see but the (PEMONTE) hotel would defantly not recomend,

Room Tip: dont go for eny less than 4* hotel in rome

Stayed at Piemonte for 3 nights with my partner a week after valentines to avoid the busyness and escalated prices.i had quite high hopes for the hotel as I had done my research and found that through photos and reviews that this was a lovely hotel in a great location. Now I definately can't knock the location, it was just a 5 minute walk to termini the main station that links you to a number of metro stations throughout Rome. Most of the time we found that we didn't need to travel via metro anyway as central rome is best enjoyed by walking everywhere which we pretty much did and within 2/3 days I would say we saw everything we wanted to see in and around the city. So the hotel was quiet accessible for walking around Rome to the main attractions which was nice but I was a little disappointed. From outside our hotel it looked Really nice and the main reception too definately looks as though it warrants the 3* status. However I was disappointed with our room. It was very small, old fashioned and although it looked clean it didn't feel that clean. Our bed was made every day but they didn't give us fresh towels. When I asked to use a travel adaptor the receptionist was very nice and helpful and they let us hold our bags there for the day when we checked out as our flight wasn't until the evening. Breakfast was ok, again a little disappointed as previous reviews had definately made it sound better than it was. Packet croissants, bruised fruit and watered down juice were on the menu but they did have nice whole grain rolls with cheese and ham if you like it continental. Overall was a nice hotel and was a good place to go if your on a budget. However next time I come to Rome I would like to pay a little more and stay somewhere a bit nicer. There are some great restaurants nearby as we found out during our last full day, so try out trattoria - mamma Angela's which was lovely for authentic reasonably priced food

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. The breakfast was standard.

The best thing about this hotel is that it is very close to the train station. The only problem was that the room was very warm even with the thermostat set as low as possible. We had to open a window to be able to sleep.

First trip to Rome with wife and friends to see England v Italy Rugby and sightseeing for total 4 nights. This is an ideal hotel for sightseeing. It is just a couple of minutes walk from Termini from which it is fairly easy to use metro, bus or tram to see all the sights. Despite some reviews stating area was a bit seedy I didn't find this at all and in fact we ate in excellent, and reasonably priced local Pizzerias or Trattoria's (different one every night)- all less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
The hotel itself is great value. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, and whilst small compared to some are exactly what you'd expect from this type of small city centre hotel. Didn't have lot's of contact with staff but found them friendly. Breakfast was ok - basic coffee, cereals, pastries and ham/cheese- but did have difficulty getting a table in firts morning.
For a 2 to 4 night city centre trip where basic comfort, location and price are all of consideration I could not fault this hotel and would stay here again if visiting Rome.
In terms of Rome my only disappointment was the weather with worst snow for 25 years meaning the outside attractions were closed and watching the rugby was freezing !

Great location, very close to Terminal Station, where you can take the subway, train or bus.
Very nice breakfast, with bread, pastries, yoghurts, juices and expresso.
The room isn't very big, neither is the bathroom, but it was enough to me. Comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels, AC worked.
Friendly staff.
Overall a great hotel to enjoy all that Rome has to offer!
