I chose this hotel because I could not find a budget Hotel in the Termini area with a good review.... a little bit more than I usually pay, but worth it... The Hotel is a couple of minutes from Termini station entrance (Across the road, and to the left) ..and is well appointed, has a good friendly feel, and spacious downstairs lounge area... The staff are friendly and polite... and the breakfast buffet is extensive and fresh... also, breakfast can start at 6.30... I booked a standard single room (non street view) ...the room was clean and tidy, and very large for a single... the bathroom was compact but excellent... with a good sized walk in shower... some reviews of the Termini area show it to be a bit dodgy at night... but I found no evidence of this.. This Hotel is on the South side... and situated in an area of similar sized, and more expensive Hotels... Metro station across the road... Overall... a very good choice

Room Tip: Metro station across road.. or 15min walk south to Coliseum..

Located nearby termini it has a strategic position in a bad neighbourhood.
It is clean, old fashioned but with renovated bathrooms, with a descent breakfast, very clean, friendly stuff.
The major disadvantage, except the area, is the bed and the matress.

I saw an advert for this hotel in a holiday brochure when I was looking over my next trip and couldn't find a better value hotel!
The location is brilliant; 5 minutes from the Termini (ideal for catching the Leonardo Express from FCO.) The staff are incredibly friendly and speak fantastic English (they will ask for your passport for verification, this seems common practice in Italy, but they are quick and efficient allowing you to check in quickly!) The rooftop bar is excellent for relaxing with a well earned cold beer or a glass of wine after a long day of walking and sightseeing!! The rooms were old and the shower was a but small for my 6'4" frame but these aren't pressing concerns. The bed was comfortable and the room was safe!
There are plenty of good restaurants around the area (I never had a bad meal or bad service) so there's no need to spend hours walking around looking for some place to eat!
Overall, a great hotel in a safe and convenient location! Would stay again should I return to Rome (after all I did throw my coins in the fountain...)

So close to the train and metro station it is very convenient.
The staff on reception very friendly but there was a rather rude man who seated us for breakfast one morning.
The overall hotel comes across as posh but our room was extremely basic, and the bath tub was so small it seemed like I was bathing in the sink, but it was very clean.
It was nice and quiet at night there was no noise from traffic despite being so close to such a large busy road.
The wifi was strong in our room but a little weak at the roof bar.
The roof bar is gorgeous though and finding the hidden sun loungers made our weekend, the cappuccinos were great too.
The breakfast was average, every morning I spotted flies on the danish pastries they really should of been covered.

Lovely hotel very pretty and decorated very well. However this hotel is in need of repair, noticed a few cracks and broken bed side lamps whilst staying here.
We never got any sleep whilst we were staying here, cleaners started working at 6am and being situated right next to the cleaners cupboard was not ideal with banging and furniture being dragged around in the early hours of the morning.
The rooftop bar here was beautiful however this also caused a lot of noise and one of the nights we had to be out early the next day a big group of americans kept us awake by being very loud and noisy and of course as the hotel is made out of a lot of wood (wooden floors/walls) the sound travels very easily.
Some of the staff are very friendly however there are a few members of staff who look very miserable in particular the staff serving breakfast.
Breakfast was not very nice, not a lot of variety and the scrambled egg was green and had been left on the side for awhile. As long as you stick to the croissants and bread you are fine.
