First of all - this is a great place to stay in Rome. It was clean and comfortable and the location is unbeatable. I would not hesitate to recommend it. However, that being said we did have a couple of issues on arrival.

I was emailed by them a few days before we arrived to confirm what time I thought we could get there to check in. I told them 3pm. We arrived at 2.50pm to find an empty concierge desk in the entrance courtyard. There was a sign in Italian that we managed to deduce said that the desk was manned after 3pm. So we waited. It got to 3.10 and there was still no one. At this point we started Google Translating the other signs dotted around, when we realised one said that there was no one there at all that day! I was very frustrated because I had specifically told them a time we would arrive, and was not told there was an issue. We rang the number that was provided (I haven't had my phone bill yet but I dread to think) and had to ring a cell and a landline twice before we got through to someone to speak to. We were then told that there is a check in desk upstairs on the first floor.

So why on earth was there no sign that said this downstairs, or why were we not told to head upstairs on arrival when I communicated with the staff days before I arrived?? This lack of communication resulted in us sitting downstairs like lemons for over half an hour and was very easily avoidable. It was a very frustrating start to the holiday.

After this we didn't have any complaints about the accommodation. We opted out of breakfast as it seemed very expensive (maybe take off where it says you get 'free' breakfast if you stay here - it is not free) for what it was. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes very nearby. We went directly opposite to Trattoria Da Luigi (literally 10 second walk across the road) on the first night when we were very tired and had a lovely and affordable meal. The location of this accommodation is perfect really and we could walk everywhere. It's also well serviced by buses, taxis and Ubers. Air con was cool enough (only just, though) but noisy. Shower room was big and the water pressure was good.

So overall I definitely recommend this place but see no reason why communication re. check in could not be significantly improved.

The location was fantastic. The room was the largest room I've stayed in in Rome with 3 large windows overlooking Vittorio Emanuelle. Traffic was a little busy
In evening but it got very quiet at night time and I had no problems sleeping.
The bathroom was really large and we had a large wardrobe.
Breakfast was an option but we did not order it as we had so many options for food just down the street.
On arrival or host was most helpful and gave us good info and tips for local restaurants which were great.
Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We stayed here for four nights with my boyfriend and his mother. The location is so perfect, we could walk anywhere we wanted to go. Staff is very helpful and extremely friendly, including the puppy that you cold see every now and then in the hallway.
Rooms were cleaned every day, breakfast was served in the room. The airconditioner was on point when there were +34 celcius outside, it was nice to come and rest in a cool hotelroom after a long day of walking.
Only minus was the bad smell in our bathroom when we arrived. It was moist, almost like mold. After we used the shower and toilet, the smell disappeared.
There was no problems like this with the other room.

Ps. There's a nice restaurant right across the road, trattoria da luigi.

The rooms are very clean, with tasteful and elegant decoration. The wifi was excellent. Also the air conditioning. Our guest was very welcoming and helpful, always ready to answer our questions and give us inside tips and recommendations. Inn Rome is 3 min walk to Piazza Navona and 5 min walk to Campo dei Fiori. There is a lovely little street near with many delightful restaurants, bistros and cafes. There is no late hour limit for guests to return at night. You are handed the key to the building as well as for the room so is great if you enjoy having total autonomy. We loved our trip in Rome and our stay at Inn Rome has matched our expectations.

I was there last week with my grown-up daughter and we liked the place a lot. The location is perfect, the building is beautiful, the place nicely renovated and the room was spacious, clean and everything in good condition. The service was outstanding, Fabiana did everything to accommodate our requests - with a smile.

Would go there again without any hesitation!
