The hotel is in a great part of Rome near the Spanish Steps. The locations excellent. The rooms are clean and fresh. The service for the rooms is fantastic. Paolo, who is at the front desk is the BEST! He is kind and friendly and will do whatever it takes to make it right. It is people like that who can make or break a trip experience and he was FANTASTIC! Thank you Paolo!!! Having confidence that the hotel experience will be a good one is very important when one makes plans in another country. I have to say that this property is awesome and the service was second to none!!! I had three adults in a junior suite and it was a good size for us. The bathrooms are nicely done and appear up to date with nice furnishings.

Great location close to Villa Borghese, Spanish Steps and Barberini Metro stop. Generous and varied breakfast buffet. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly restaurant and front desk staff. Spent a most enjoyable six nights. Only two minor things we did not care for: bedroom marble floors are cold (although they do place a mat by your bed during turndown service), and the chairs (which resemble a row of sausages strung together) are fun but not comfortable. Loved the cloth-upholstered walls!

We are currently staying at the Grand Palace Hotel for two nights before embarking on our cruise ship. Our room is very nice, roomy, very clean and beautiful. The location of the hotel is great, very convenient to different sights in Rome. The hotel staff is amazing! Very accommodating and extremely friendly. We will not hesitate to recommend or to stay at this hotel again. My only fault was the elevator is extremely small and I am very claustrophobic, and using the stairs was not a good replacement for me as I have bad knees. But these were my problems not the hotels.

We loved our stay in this hotel - cozy and pretty big rooms, perfect bathroom. Helpfull stuff. Close to many of main attraction, 5 minutes to villa Borghese and few minutes to the next metro station. Very nice, but little SPA with pool. The only disappointment was breakfast - dinning room is very beutiful but food isn't tasty and there is not big choise, especialy for such a high price. Generally, would definitely reccomend for this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located within 5 minutes walking to buses and the Rome Metro. There are good restaurants near. The room was large but did not have a proper place to sit. One easy chair was so small and uncomfortable that it could not be used by a normal sized adult. The other chair was an uncomfortable straight backed chair at a table about the size of a normally sized night stand. The night stands were so small that the phone and remote TV controller had to be placed on the floor before eye glasses and a bottle of water had space to be set down. There was some kind of odd upholstered bench at the foot of the bed that was uncomfortable so was used for a suitcase rack. Our seats for our 4 night stay were the bed. The toilet was next to a tall window overlooking the street from our 3rd floor room. A sheer curtain was in front of the window. We found it necessary to use the toilet and shower in the dark. The restaurant was poorly managed and the buffet style breakfast always had at least one steamer empty and others poorly filled. We had to ask multiple times for tea and coffee and it was sometimes reluctantly served. The breakfasts were overpriced and in hindsight we should have eaten at one of the local restaurants. The lobby was not comfortable and had the same cheesy chairs and an uncomfortable matching sofa. Hardly the place to relax after a rigorous day of sightseeing. Do not stop here. Surely there are better hotels within the visitor's hub that can outdo this hotel for convenience, hospitality and comfort.
