“Hotel Victoria”
Reviewed 27 March 2012

Ive been traveling to Rome since 1995 for business and it was only last week at I stayed in the Hotel Victoria for the first time.
The stay was very nice indeed. Extremely clean and the staff were super friendly.
The rooms are a little on the small side but still very nice.
It’s a great location at the top of Via Veneto – a short walk to Barberini Square, Spanish Steps & Fontana De Trevi.

Room Tip: Book the Deluxe as the Standard is too bare.

Great location, close to Villa Borghese and Via Veneto
Staff very friendly and helpfull with dinner reservation, still showing the
classic Italian concierge flair.
Room 5th floor was clean, renovated not long ago, big bathroom, shower head needs
replacement, mini bar, pillows could be somewhat softer but oveerall a great room, quite, with
efficient windows facing the park
American Breakfast was rich and sufficient, fresh pinapple every day, multiple bread choice

Room Tip: Try the 5th floor with balcony overviewing the park and the old city walls

Great hotel in rome, and easy to walk or catch transportation if wanted. Was on tour with Perillo and great way to get overall look at several venues in Italy and can then decide what to go back and see again on return visit. Were on the 14 day continenal tour without meals, and worked out well, recommendations for meals was always good, but sometimes more fun to find on own. All guides were excellent, and extras were good also.
Hotel Victoria was clean and old stylish rooms, with updates and had no problems in room and staff responsive to needs. Good place to stay. This was our last stop in Italy before return home.

Hotel Victoria is in a nice quiet area of Rome, near the Borghese Gardens, and Via Veneto. The front desk staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, especially Nicola and Massimo. We were telling them about a problem we had getting in touch with a company there and before we finished the sentence, they picked up the phone and were calling them for us! We didn't even ask them to do that but they sincerely wanted to be helpful.
Breakfast was good: sliced meat, eggs, many bread choices, yogurt, cereals, fresh fruits and juices.
Our room was large and comfortable and sparkling clean. It was very cold weather when we were there but our room was warm and comfortable. I asked for an extra pillow and they wanted to know what kind of pillow I prefer, soft or hard! I couldn't believe they cared enough to ask that question.
Nearby is Lotti's, a little place that has gelato, panini, bottled drinks, wine, a bakery, and cooked authentic Italian dishes, either to eat there or take away. Great for a quick meal after a long day of touring.
There is an underground walkway right near the hotel, and it was very convenient (and dry) to walk toward the Spanish Steps, especially since it snowed when we were there.
This is one of the hotels that GreenLine Tour Company designates as a pick-up hotel, so if you book tours, GreenLine tours will pick you up right in the lobby of the hotel, and you won't have to walk anywhere to find them.
WiFi is unreliable in the room but there is a direct LAN connection that gives you 100% internet access all the time. The lobby has a WiFi connection and a printer too.

Room Tip: Our room was on the fifth floor and very quiet at night.
