This hotel is 2.5 blocks from Termini station, so it is very easy to roll your bags right to the hotel. The rooms are nice, clean, and relatively spacious. There is a small lobby/bar area, and a large rooftop dining area that is maybe the best thing about the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of extra and novel items, and you can have happy hour drinks up there too - with nice views of the neighborhood. Easy walk to several museums and cathedrals, as well as lots of good restaurants nearby. I have stayed here twice, and I would have stayed a third time but the price jumped that week so I tried another hotel. If it stays less than $200 per night, it is definitely worth it, and sometimes it goes under $150 and then is a really good deal.

We recently stayed at hotel palladium palace for 3 nights! We found the majority of staff to be extremely friendly and helpful and found the hotel to be well situated in terms of access to Rome central station (less than a 5 minute walk). Breakfast was wonderful with a large assortment of cold and hot options (including eggs, bacon and pancakes). Unfortunately for us this is where the pros of this hotel end... we found the room to be very small and extremely noisy!!! We were woken every night multiple times by traffic, other guests, and noise from other rooms bathrooms/showers. We also had an issue with the toilet not flushing and at times it took up to 6 attempts to flush and once you did so it was extremely noisy whilst the system ?refilled. This hotel is also quite a distance for the main sites walking (approx 20mins to colosseum, 25mins trevi fountain) and the walks are quite hilly, thus I wouldnt recommend waking to these sites for anyone with ailments as there is also a number of stairs involved. We did catch the train to the Vatican though which was easy enough however if you plan on site seeing by foot I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Great hotel near train station and Santa Maria cathedral. Great staff. The rooftop bar did not have the view we expected but was nice enough. Would recommend. Had a great time seeing the sites and the hop on hop off bus.

Room Tip: Had to ask twice for extra pillows. Otherwise great housekeeping.

The Palladium Palace is an exceptional international hotel! The location is excellent for the train, tours buses and walking into Rome. The reception and staff always available and lovely! Breakfast was hot and cold and highly presentable! Rooms huge with high ceilings with Italian fixtures make you feel your in Rome!
Very happy and would recommend to anyone!

First time in Rome and what a great place to stay.
Really welcoming staff where nothing was a problem to sort out for us.
Ive read the reviews about the quirky layout, however it isn't that strange and doesn't take long to get your bearings. Also for someone like me who does not like elevators the stairs are really convenient and very easy to access all levels of the hotel easily.
The free bottle of presecco for my daughters 15th birthday was a lovely surprise, however clearly she was too young to drink it, but my wife enjoyed it.
All in all a good place to stay if your in Rome, and if we visit again we will certainly choose this hotel.

The hotel's elegant interiors, attended to in their every detail and made precious by the courteous and professional ambience provided by its staff, make of the Hotel Palladium Palace one of the most successful 4 star hotels in Rome. A magnificent late 19th century edifice houses the hotel's interiors, with its (24 hr) reception adorned in classic noble wood furnishings coordinated with marble. The common areas in the Hotel Palladium Palace are embellished with sophisticated and refined details, such as findings of ancient fragments of marble friezes. The hotel's guests have access to the lobby and TV room, the bar (always open), and the breakfast hall with its American style buffet (serving sweet and savory offerings). The gym features a sauna, a rarity for a 4 star hotel in Rome, and an ideal choice for those who want to keep fit during their vacation or business trip in a hotel in Rome. The Hotel Palladium Palace's most spectacular feature is its rooftop, with a panoramic terrace on the last floor of the building, overlooking the rooftops and cupolas of Rome, where the hotel's guests can enjoy the privilege of having breakfast or spending relaxing moments in good company. ... more   less
